How did Wayne notify you of your scholarship? Was that part of the letter you received, or did they do that in a separate e-mail or phone call? congrats on that money, that's a great bonus!
Also wondering about how you heard from Wayne that you were getting scholarship money?
Wayne scholarship I found out in person after meeting with the dean.
Regarding your scholarship, did you apply for it or was it rewarded to you?
Why did you change to part time at Loyola? Are you planning to work, or did you want to increase your changes to get in? I am possibly considering that as well, but do you know if Loyola will consider you for BOTH the part time and full time programs? I would def. rather go full time, but would go part time if that was the only option.
I'm getting a lot of questions about why I switched to PT at Loyola; it was to improve my chances of getting in. I've been told by current students that they don't take many people off the waitlist. And my LSAT is fairly low for that school...so I figured, better to transfer after 1 year of PT then have no chance at all.

I'll probably stay in Detroit and attend Wayne, though I haven't been impressed with their admissions program thus far. What are your thoughts on Wayne?
I think Wayne is a solid school, but they gave me a super hard time with the in-state tuition deal (I've been living in NYC for the last 2 years but grew up in Michigan thru college). They are rude and abrupt every time I call or email. Though, the admissions dean herself was very nice and gave me a tour. We'll see.
i sent in another letter of rec for kent (after i got the deferral) from a partner at the firm i work for who went there... didn't seem like it hurt!
I know this is really late but I was wondering if you ever heard from chicago kent?
Congrats on Wayne state!...I am nervously awaiting a decision from them...P.S. I can't beleive DePaul rejected you...
