Rejected at Valparaiso, UDC, and California Western... ahhh bummer.

2/6/09
Widener, got into the TAP program. Not sure about this, but currently seems like the best option.

1/24/09
Thomas Cooley. Yeah i got in, but who doesn't? The attrition rate is pretty much making me decide that i probably don't want to go here.

1/17/09
Jones School of Law. I got accepted into there conditional program (CAAP). I guess i wont have to go to Cooley!

I would ideally like to stay in the Pacific Northwest region. Seattle University being my ideal number one choice. My sister, cousin, and aunt all graduated from Seattle U School of Law. But staying in the northwest doesn't seem like a viable option, with my numbers.

If you guys have any suggestions on were i should try applying, i would be more than grateful.

Thanks! Its not my first choice but its something. Its ok! My UGPA is 2.96 but I haven't been able to send my last transcript to LSDAS yet. It used to be a 2.8 so hopefully it will be a little higher.

Hey man I advise you apply everywhere you can, dont allow numbers and what people say say you and where you apply. You never know what a school is looking for.

Thanks!

MSU
Monday, December 22 2008 at 07:00 PM

I applied to the full time program but they accepted me into the summer program which I am extremely grateful for. The summer program runs from 5/17-6/26 and the cost is $1250 but its almost guaranteed that you will get in with successful completion. They only accept up to 25 students for the program. My biggest problem is the time frame of the program b/c I will still be in school. You should apply to MSU, its a great school! I see you did not get in at UDC. How did they notify you? I am still waiting to get the verdict on my app there along with Valparaiso. Good luck with your other apps. Oh, and I got in at Thomas Cooley too. Don't look so down on the school, I mean, they have a good program to be honest and the campus is nice. The attrition rate is not as bad as people think. I visited the school and they confirmed this for me. But hey, you gotta make your own decision, just wanted to state that. Pray about it (if your religious) and again, good luck to you!!

Monterey College of Law

Hey, I was just surfing this site and I ran across your profile. Your numbers look a lot like mine. Have you ever considered a Cal Accredited Law School. I am just about to finish my first year at the Monterey College of Law and have enjoyed my experience. Monterey College of Law reviews your whole resume and not just the numbers. Some great perks are we at the Beach, the tuition is less than 50K for your entire attendance, and our professors are practicing attorneys. My campus focuses on helping the student not just learn the law but how to prepare for Bar. If you have any questions just shoot me an email. Good Luck, Wendy
