Finally got my lsat score back on 06/30. I didn't quite reach my goal of 170, but I suppose I came close enough. Now the incredibly stressful part begins...

I've put up the law schools I'm strongly considering applying to, but this may change. I also need to add safety schools, but I'm not really sure where. Any input would be appreciated.

10/12 - Northwestern
10/15 - Vandy fee waiver

(I decided not to apply to Northwestern or UCLA, but I'm leaving the fee waiver dates up anyway. They make me feel more like a badass).

So, after a very stressful few months, I finally got my act together and applied! All the schools I've applied to have requested my LSAC report by now (thank you, Michigan, for being the last one to do that despite being one of the first I applied to). I guess I just get to wait to go complete. Ah, how I hate the waiting...

My first app is complete! Eee! That was faster than I thought it would be. Also, today I finally gave up on defending Mohinder Suresh's poor decision making skills. I can't believe he shot Noah! I'm so disappointed! At least Noah's still alive...

OMFG!!! I got into Duke!! EEEE! I'm now officially accepted into a school I'd be very happy to attend. I guess I don't have to worry about applying to any more safeties now!

I got a very large package from Vanderbilt (like...huge!) with bunches of fun stuff about the school. There wasn't anything in it that said 'congrats you're in,' but it seemed pretty clear that I was accepted. Yay!

Got a phone call from Paul Pless at U of Illinois that woke me up this morning (I'd been up all night writing my final paper). But the news was good: a spot in their class and a full tuition scholarship for all three years! The thought of not being horribly in debt is very tempting...

Woke up and saw an email congratulating me for being accepted at Cornell. Yay!

Except for my deferral from Michigan (I'm really upset about that...I was really hoping for a Michigan acceptance), everything's been pretty quiet for the last month. I'm really afraid that I'm going to get rejected or waitlisted from just about everywhere else. Boo.

Randomly found a college friend on here...hopefully I didn't creep him out too much, but I suppose I can assure him at lunch tomorrow that I'm not a crazy person if I see him. Also, my application to Stanford just went complete. I sadly completely forgot about it and didn't worry about it because I'm just assuming that save a miracle, I'm totally getting rejected. Positive thinking is an amazing thing.

Came home really late last night to find an acceptance package from UT. Will probably withdraw soon because I only really considered it as an option if I got a scholarship, which I didn't.

I got an email from Harvard and thought it was a rejection, so I'm pretty ecstatic that's it's just a deferral. I feel kinda lame, but I don't care...I'm not rejected yet!

Got a tiny beige envelope from Columbia, which I thought was a rejection. I almost had a heart attack until I opened it and found out i was 'held.' Not what I would have liked, but better than a flat out rejection!

Happy St. Patrick's Day! Came back from spring break and got a rejection from Stanford. $60k over 3 years from Duke by letter on the 5th. $90k over 3 years from Vanderbilt, but I don't remember the date.

Got an email last Friday from UVA. Still waiting for the actual acceptance letter. Kinda thinking it's going to be either Duke or UVA right now. Any thoughts?

omg omg omg. cancel the uva/duke debate...I just got my beautiful purple folder from NYU! I had totally written them off because it had been so long, but now I'm absolutely going to go there save an acceptance from Columbia or Harvard (which I seriously doubt). Time to celebrate...
