My story is similar to yours in regards to the disadvanteged childhood etc. However, you are not as bad off as me. I too was deferred at John Marshall - ATL. You will get in somewhere. It will happen. the question is, will it happen for me? I see that you have applied to widener. I know it's a long shot but I had to put in my bid. They have had my application since 10/31/07 and still no rejection letter yet. I would be lucky to get a conditional acceptance. I don't want to re-test. Every day is like "did the mailman come?" Now that football season is over, I think I will go nuts over my obsession with this whole process. Oh well.

Good Luck on your apps, let me know iyour thoughts on AMMPLE, I know it is expensive but have you heard if it's worth it? I have heard rumors that it is a rip off, but it's hard to tell if that is just sour grapes from people who couldn't make it..

Thanks. I received a letter in the mail. My scores were 140 and 149

I had a 148 as well. It was a miracle I got off Ave's wait list but I sent them numerous letters and called once. Schools really like that and sometimes will look past the numbers if they see someone who truly wants to attend.

BTW I applied back in December and got a call from them in Feb about being accepted.

Thanks for your advice. I sent them a letter of continued interest plus 2 additional recommendation letters. I'm really hoping to get in. I don't want to go up north for school, I'm a Florida girl!

Hey there, Not trying to scare anyone about the accreditation, I just believe that its a valid concern of mine. As far as sitting for the bar and everything I know we are fine. If for some reason they lose accreditation, it will be a severe hit to their reputation. I think something similar happened to Barry a few years ago. I will probably be at FAMU, so lets hope for the best :) Hope to see you on campus!

Hey I came across your profile and wanted to commend you on overcoming what you have. To come from raising your own brothers to getting a GED, etc. it is quite the story. I wish you the best of luck with whatever school you end up attending.

how long did it take for nova to offer you the aample program? I received their decision online but do they send you something in the mail about the aample program?
