If you have the time to prepare for the LSAT again and you have credible reason to believe you will do better, then there is little to lose. You should not concern yourself right now with whether it will effect decisions etc because of two reasons: 1) if you are waitlisted, you can submit your new LSAT score and have a higher chance of being picked off or 2) if you are rejected, you can (at some schools) appeal if your score is significantly higher
So...Miami...what kind of beer will this bring?
hey, i have yet to hear back from Miami, but if i get in, im going to go there....i think you should too, and tell anyone you know with high LSAT to go there too....we could make it a top 20 school, im sending this message to others on LSN as well
Hey wustlajb, Congrats on Utah. It is my top choice. Did Dean Aguilar give you a call to let you know? Good luck with the rest of you apps. I am sure your strong stats will garner a few more acceptances.
Congrats on all of your acceptances and your higher LSAT score! Do you have a school that you are leaning towards right now?
On UCLA!
So I am considering re-taking the LSAT in February because I just learned that a lot of schools are now recognizing the highest score rather than averaging. I took the LSAT a year and a half ago, and didn't score as high as probably could have. I would really like to have a shot at getting into Berkeley, but I am not sure if a February LSAT score would get there in time to effect their decision. Any input?
