This website is crack.

I thought I would give Virginia a laugh for the price of an LSDAS report. Maybe they'll send the wrong letter?

01/12/08-Acceptance from UW-Madison!

01/16/08-All apps complete.

01/17/08-E-mail from the University of Washington!

01/17/08-Snail mail acceptance from the University of Arizona!

01/22/08-Snail mail acceptance from the University of CA-Hastings!

01/25/08-Snail mail acceptance from Lewis & Clark!

01/28/08-Deferral from UIUC. Snail mail waitlist letter from Notre Dame.

01/30/08-Acceptance from Ohio State! I really like how a rep telephoned me personally.

02/09/08-Snail mail packet acceptance from Seattle University!

02/11/08-Snail mail packet acceptance from the University of Colorado!

02/21/08-Snail mail packet acceptance from the University of Oregon!

03/03/08-Starting to withdraw from schools today. I am very honored to even be admitted to any of these places and I hope I make some one else's day by releasing my acceptances.

03/04/08-Getting restless...wish VA would just end it already (not really!), but I would like to fill in all my "Pending" tabs. I'm also hoping to break into the top 25, but not much chance with the UIUC deferral and W&L's miniscule class size.

03/05/08-Withdrew from Hastings and Colorado today. I think both of these schools would have been amazing though, especially CO which sent me info about a gathering with kegs...plural! Perhaps I'm being hasty...

03/06/08-Crazy how the UC Davis status checker says exactly what's going on with my file--mine changed to "Evaluation in Progress" this morning from "Awaiting Evaluation."

03/07/08-Withdrew from Ohio State, which was difficult because I really liked how I received my acceptance via phone...not to mention $.

03/10/08-Withdrew from Wisconsin and Lewis & Clark--the hardest yet. That UW was my first acceptance, so I ascribe that "first acceptance" elation to them. I also highly recommend L&C to anyone; they're generous, attentive, and the campus is beautiful.

03/13/08-Status checker acceptance from UC Davis!

03/20/08-Boo. Hiss. Waitlist from UIUC via status checker after being deferred. Expected. Two more unpleasant decisions to go...

03/28/08-Priority non-resident waitlist at UVA?! I'm sure a delayed rejection, but still!

04/03/08-Mmm, hundreds of people waitlisted at UVa. Withdrew from Davis, Seattle, and UIUC waitlist.

04/07/08-Not going to string myself along on a waitlist although UVA would have been awesome. My first choice school from the get go came through and I couldn't be happier. Hooray for University of Washington class of 2011!

Thanks for replying. I just got a message from a guy who had a similar experience with UW. I really wish they would just email me. Anyway, continued good luck on the rest of your schools.

OSU is my top choice... but they're making it hard on me because they're the only school thus far to not offer me money! You got some nice money, also!

Just out of curiosity, did you put in for the Moritz Scholarship at OSU? At the admitted student day, they said that if you were considered for it, you would not know your scholarship package until March! Argh!

Yeah, UO seemed to take *forever*. Congrats on your acceptance, too! As an Oregon resident, UO's $8K and LC's $18K make the tuition pretty much equal for me. The decision making is going to kill me! Are you leaning toward a specific school right now?

I agree. I know they've looked at my application by now and am encouraged by the fact that I haven't recieved a rejection. I'm thinking I'm in the waitlist pile, but it'll probably depend on who withdraws and who sends deposits in the next few weeks. Thanks for the encouragement.

Good luck this cycle! Out of curiosity, did you say you were white or asian on the applications? or did you say both? I wonder which gives more of an advantage.

Thanks for the congrats about Davis! I guess this means your acceptance will be coming shortly :). Ya, the status checker gives you a pdf version of an acceptance letter, so that's pretty cool.

Hii! Just checkin up on your cycle- congrats on all your acceptances! Where are you leaning toward? Right now I'm between Hastings and Davis, but leaning toward Hastings because of their focus on biglaw and Davis' big drop in the rankings. I hope to get into UIUC though! Anyway, keep me updated!

Yea, I'm planning on riding it out, but you're right- UIUC is notorious for being lsat whores. It sucks that one more point would have probably got me/us in, but whatev. Now that their ranking has gone down 2, maybe I have more of a chance. Well, congrats on your UWashington acceptance! That is an awesome school!

OH MAN can you believe they priority waitlisted us?? I mean, I'm thinking they did it as a way of honoring our GPAs or something, aka polite rejections, but it still makes me happy!! I was starting to think that all schools care about is the LSAT, so it's a breathe of fresh air :)

no WAY am I withdrawing from UVA haha!! Ya, I was priority waitlisted too. It's awesome that you're withdrawing from all the schools you know you don't want to go to. I would do that, but I feel like I would still definitely consider any school I'm currently on the waitlist for. I just want to keep my options open, because I'm not 100 percent content yet to go to either hastings or davis, and I have no clue which one to pick of the two either. ohhh sigh. Hey, thanks for telling me your real name! Are you on facebook? WE should be FRIENDS!! haha. I'm shannon tucker.
