I received my first acceptance today from the University of Akron!

I have sent in 13 applications and this is the first law school to give me a decision, so it is a special moment even if it isn't my first choice (I am still waiting on you George Mason!).

Anyway ... Thank you Akron for making my day!

What the heck? This was one of my safeties.

I am far above their numbers and I applied PT, so there was no reason for them to yield protect me (is there?).

Could it be an in-state/out-of-state issue?

Now my record is 1 Acceptance and 1 deferral.

That UALR deferral is a real curveball. I'm even more nervous now. Maybe PT is reserved for residents???

On all your acceptances! I'm not PT but other than that we have very similar numbers and some schools in common...Akron was my first acceptance too!
