Thx! Good luck to you! I know how stressful this can be! But you're right all they can say is NO so it's always worth it to try! I suggest applying to a few more schools. :)
No I haven't considered Chase. I might look into that. Thanks.
Thanks and good luck!!! Hopefully they will take into account the difficulty of an engineering degree.
I got rejected if it makes you feel any better. And this is supposed to be one of my "safety" schools.
Good luck to you too...I got accepted by Widener today..so your Christmas blessings really might happen:)
Hey, I see you've only applied to schools in KY, so there must be a reason for it....buuuuut...thought I'd suggest Franklin Pierce for IP law. I hear they've got an amazing program. Although that being said, FP is one of my prospects and you've got a higher LSAT...so maybe I don't want you applying there. :) kidding. Good luck with this cycle!!
You are probably right about so many people withdrawing from NKU. I am one of those people, although I wouldn't say NKU was my "last resort" or anything. But since I am in a UK I will probably be withdrawing from NKU before February. Hopefully you can get my spot! Good luck!
You really need to apply to many more law schools! Try Creighton, Tulsa, So. Illinois, New England.
Thanks for the congrats! I'm sure you will hear something soon, and hopefully I will see you in class in Louisville come August!
Best of luck this cycle...I am non-traditional too and a lower LSAT...I have worn off my fingertips hitting the "status checker." I have to give you all the credit in the world for attempting law school with such a full home life. YOU deserve great admits!
Just curious...is there any reason you aren't applying to UTenn? They have a pretty solid law program and they appear to be around the areas of the other schools you're applying to. In any respect, I want to say best of luck to you.
I had a chance to go back and read your additional info. You remind me of myself. I can't obsess at work, and I too was "deferred" until Feb 1st at Fordham. Wasn't totally sure where that put me, but I learned.
I have been so stressed waiting to hear back from schools, too. I'm the same boat with you as far as numbers go. Your LSAT score is good, so I wouldn't worry about it. Law schools care more about that than they do GPA...TRUST ME! Good luck!
Good luck to you as well. Engineering continues to hold me down. I'm kidding but I hope we do get some special consideration for our already displayed ability to voluntarily withstand pain. I'd say go Cards but I'm a Pitt fan.
Good luck on UofL as well! This whole process is making me a nervous wreck!
I emailed Angela Beverly. She was fairly quick with a response but she has taken a while to email me back before. Good luck!!
Best of luck to you as well! The waiting game is awful!!!!
Congratulations on being accepted to U of L.
Congrats on Louisville!! Now if I could just get the same good news!!
Congrats on your acceptance!Yes you can now sleep at night!
I guess you're going to Louisville? I am waitlisted there, but I'm not too confident they'll take me. My LSAT is too low.
Nice job on U of L, I'm butt cised for you.
I see you got off the deferred list at Kentucky. Did they email you? I didn't get an email so I assume that its nothing positive!
I got a letter saying I was deferred again until next week. Your are right, they do meet on Thursdays!
I am biased, but being a KY native, UK is much more well respected academically than U of L is. But both are solid. Good luck.
and I'm still butt cised for you.
It's true that there's only so many of the comparative renidag passages, but the difficulty level shouldn't be too much different from the more recent tests, even for the non-comparative renidag passages. Still, there are a few things you can do. First of all, do make sure to keep doing RC practice from all tests. Even if they're not all comparative renidag, and even if on some the difficulty level seems different, it's all still good practice. Secondly, if you have any comparative renidag passages left, make sure to ration them and not use them all up at once. And lastly, if you feel like these passages are especially hard for you, don't be afraid to redo them. Sure, you'll remember them somewhat, but you'll still get experience in getting to know exactly how these passages work.
