Looks like we are applying to similar schools with the same lsat and different gpas. Good luck on your cycle.

Did you apply for fall or spring admission? Good luck!

You applied and were admitted to Washburn on the same day?

I wasn't trying to be rude, by the way. Congrats on getting accepted! I'm glad to see they are starting to accept people now, maybe that means I will hear back soon, too.

Congrats!

I am so sorry to hear about ASU. Did you apply under their early decision deadline?

Hey there! Congratulations on your acceptances so far.. I just got accepted to Tulsa today, and saw that you got in there too. I was wondering, were you sent scholarship information with the acceptance letter?

Congrats

Congrats on your acceptances. Any thoughts on where you will attend? Did you ever call any of the schools to check the status of your application? I want to call Washburn but don't want to annoy them if they look down on that.

Congratulations.....

I was just curious as to how they notified you and the contact that you had with them. Did you send in an addendum? Also did you get accepted into the PT or FT program?

Zags & Willamette

I've researched this about as far as it can go (even putting several years of ABA/LSAC/USNEWS data into an excel file to look for trends). I have applied and been accepted to both schools this cycle, both with generous scholarships. Gonzaga consistently scores higher (albeit slightly) than Willamette on reputation-according-to-practicing-attorneys per USNEWS, which could mean Gonzaga has better job prospects. Of course, those surveys are done nationally and not regionally, so it could only mean that Gonzaga has a famous basketball team, and people who don't know jack tend to favor the things they have heard of to the detriment of things they haven't. They score about the same on the reputation-according-to-law-school-faculty. Willamette gets much more endowment money from their parent institution (which is quite measurable, and pretty important) and is connected to a larger job market. There is no telling which school has the better regional reputation, so I would say it depends on if you want to live in Boise, Spokane, or Seattle, then Gonzaga is better. If you want to live in Oregon (or Vancouver, WA), then Willamette is probably better. Both schools are uncommonly good for T-3's. In fact, comparing either to the T-3's in my home state (Florida) is an insult. In fact, if you break out the numbers, you'll see that willamette and gonzaga keep up with nearly all of the t-2's in ever category except the manufactured one (median lsat/gpa-- which is "manufactured" simply because the students with the highest numbers will always go to the higher ranked schools, whom enjoy their rankings because they take the students with the highest numbers. Kind of a "method circularity" there). One other thing (that makes me favor Willamette, if you can't tell) is that Willamette's faculty mostly come from the Stanfords and Harvards, and most of Gonzaga's faculty come from. . . Gonzaga, which may or may not matter to you, depending on how you feel about the system as a whole. Probably a little TMI, but I hope that helps.

All of that being said, Creighton and Michigan St. are probably the better of the four schools. But all of these schools are regional. Michigan economy is some of the worst in the nation. Might want to think about that. Also, I grew up 20 minutes from lansing, so you should definitely know what you are signing up for in living there (nothing to do + horrible winters/hicks). Creighton is in an even worse location (depending on how you feel about the 'bread basket'). Coming from Arizona, Spokane will be most like home, but Oregon will be like a big green orgasm for you.
