I don't know about all of that, Latin Lord would be a tough act to follow. But I have no problem helping any and everyone out in any which way i can. I'm no Latin Lord but i sure wouldn't mind trying.....

Good luck with your University at Buffalo Law School application. I am a first year student there and the place is amazing. All my profs are either Ivy League or Top 10 law school grads. If you are a NYS resident, the tuition cannot be beat. A very strong Tier 2 school, it is important to note that the ilrg.com 2008 ratings have just come out and UNIVERSITY AT BUFFALO LAW SCHOOL IS RATED 29TH IN THE NATION REGARDING EMPLOYMENT AT GRADUATION !

Thanks for your note. Never been to Buffalo ? It doesn't get all the snow that folks think and it is the birthplace of BUFFALO WINGS ! Also Wolf Blitzer of CNN fame is an alum of UB and Buffalo is the home town of Tim Russert !

Thanks for the note of congratulations...but with my crappy lsat I am not getting any merit $$$...with full price over $30,000 a year at most of my schools I don't know what to do...I don't want to be in debt the rest of my life. I am almost thinking of not going to law school unless I can get a sweet deal from my remaining schools but I'm not holding my breath!! Enough about me...you should be hearing good news any day...I bet they all come in a rush!! Best of luck...

That's what I'm talking about! I'm so happy for you! You even got a scholarship...awesome. I was suprised by my waitlist...I really thought I had a shot but then I applied to the FT program so they probably dinged me because of that.

You need to go see the main campus in Gulfport and also the Tampa campus. Tampa campus is relatively new, but the Gulfport campus is amazing looking.

I think I am leaning towards retaking the lsat in June and applying for '09 if I can get into the 160's...otherwise I might end up teaching. The debt load & job prospects are scaring me. I will wait for all my applications to finish though before I decide...maybe even after a 5th of bourbon... Congrats again on your perfection!!

Yes...I have shrugged off my doom and gloom and said hell with it...lets go to law school. I realizied that I had set so many things in motion that I needed to go now or never. Anyway...I am so pumped for my road trip...5 cities in 5 days...it'll be crazy. I'll keep you posted!

I got the fellowship too! I will probably be seeing you in Fall.

Congrats on UB. I hope that I get accepted off of their waitlist... it was my top choice... if so, I will see you in the fall! I loved it when I visited their campus as well... people were really happy to be there.

Hopefully we can deal with the snow in the winter together! I miss upstate NY but those winter (Oct - Apr)classes would really be a fun commute to!

Well, the wait is finally over and I'm in!!! Thank God, what a process. I see you chose U Buffalo and congratulations and best of luck with that. There is nothing quite like being able to go where you wanted to go all along, because even for me in college, I had no clear cut favorite until after I was admitted to schools. With law schools Stetson was the #1 for me all along and getting in there is overwhelming haha. Well I hope you are doing well, and now the wait to the first year begins.

Hey, I actually decided to go to Franklin Pierce... it is ranked very well for IP law (which is what I am trying to get into) and the avg income of the new graduates will make paying my huge loans off a little bit easier. I wish I was closer to home and UB is a great place... but I think I picked the right place for me, ya know?

Alisha, it was SUCH a hard decision because I just love Buffalo. It's a great place and great school, and I will always have a place in my heart. :) I just can't turn down a full ride though, so close to home!

Yea, I just signed my applications for student loans last night... 54k a year... I know UB won't have been that expensive! ... now I have to find housing :-/ and then im done :-) until the move... I think your going to be getting more snow, I grew up in Rochester and went to school in Erie, I def remember what it was like. New Hampshire doesn't get nearly as much as the snow belt.
