Best wishes on your application to the University at Buffalo Law School. I am a first year student there and the place is amazing ! All my profs are either Ivy League or Top 10 law school grads. And if you are a NYS resident, the tuition is beyond belief ! Best wishes !

Thanks for your note....career services are being very helpful giving guidance with resumes, contacts regarding interviews for summer positions...so I'd give that a THUMBS UP !

hey.. thanks for the message. i'm really suprised about buffalo as well. all i can think of is that i'm not in state, and my GPA is really up and down from semester to semester.. no upward trend or anything glorifying like that! good luck!

Hey sorry for waiting so long to respond. My application to Buffalo was complete in mid January. Wish you luck with them, that school is an outstanding educational value.

UB Law

Thanks for your note. That is one indice yet if you go on the UB Law web site you will see that by another index they are rated 38th in the nation because of high rates of employment at graduation and a fantastic passage rate of the NYS Bar Exam (which is probably the toughest in the nation). My take is that if you can't get into the top 30 law schools in the country, then GO PUBLIC....and UB is the best public law school in the northeast. Wish you the best !

I asked to be nominated when i recd my acceptance package. There was a letter about the fellowship in the folder. Unforturnately, i think the deadline as expired. But you should definitely call to make sure.

Hey moocow842, My fellowship is for three years. There was a form in the acceptance packet that provided information on the fellowship and directed you to contact the school if you were interested in being nominated. Best of luck to you on this cycle. Looks like you got a scholarship as well. Congrats. As you are a resident (from your profile) this makes tuition a great deal!

Hi Moocow842, I don't know if you're URM but this fellowship-schomburg is for minorities who will attend grad school in UB. Information on it should have been included in your acceptance letter if you are eligible. Hope this helps!

hmmm well my choices are cornell, boston or Rugers. I went to the open house at rutgers and it was amazing so I mean if I were you I would truly go visit rugtgers but I guess its all a matter of preference.
