How did you decide on Wake and Emory being from West Virginia? I am originally a Marylander, but now I am in undergrad in NC. And yes, I definitely agree about graduating with no debt!

No, I go to a smaller private school in Greensboro. Wake is about 25 mins away though, so I am pretty familiar with the area. Yeah but the South is nice, I enjoy living here. I am jealous of how you already have your apps in. I am hoping to complete most of mine in the next week, but I am still putting finishing touches on my personal statement so we will see.

Thanks for the kind words and encouragement. I considered a lot of schools, but with a wife and two kids (one who will be starting high school as I finish up), I decided it was more important to minimize my debt load as much as possible. So, I primarily looked at schools I was more likely to get a sizeable scholarship while still shooting for mostly decent schools. Congrats on W & M and good luck with the rest of the apps!

Wow! I am jealous of your acceptances and scholarships so far. That is great news!! I did not expect that much money at W&L and I didn't even get as much as you. Good luck with your decision.

Yeah I was very surprised about the money. I had actually just walked out of an open house at Wake when I got the email. I wasn't really strongly considering W&L before, but now it is definitely up there. Do you think you will attend?

W&L is becoming more and more attractive to me everyday. I am going to visit next week so I am hoping I like it. Have you visited?

Hi, I was wondering when you got your acceptance to WVU, did they e-mail you, or send you a package? Also, did your status checker change, like did it have a new listing for 1st Seat Deposit etc.?
