We have almost identical stats and I got the same results at LSU. Were you surprised? I couldn't tell if the comment regarding April meant they'll let us know then, or if we won't know until later. What'd you think?

as of now, its between Syracuse and Miami. What would you choose of these two? I plan to work in the northeast (NYC or Boston). Does buffalo have a good reputation in these cities? Do you want to live in miami more than in buffalo due to the weather or some other reason?
So you think Buffalo is better than Syracuse? If I want to work in NYC or Boston, do you still suggest I go to miami because of the better reputation even though Syr and Buf are located in the northeast which is where I want to practice. I guess my question is whether Miami's reputation allows you to get jobs in the Northeast also. Thanks.

hey, i just found out i got in buffalo. so now we both have the buffalo vs. miami problem. does buffalo place students well in jobs such as in NYC and boston?
now i'm in the same situation as you. any advice? its b/w buffalo and miami

why are you leaning more towards miami? actually, i'm leaning more towards buffalo. i like that competition there is less (no rank or gpa or grading curve) and the tuition is cheaper.

Thank you for you kind words. I heard by mail - a thick envelope. Bummer, it looked like an acceptance. The next round won't be untill sometime in the summer. They asked if I would prefer PT evening and I said yes as it will probably increase my chances. However, once this choice is made, consieraton for day is lost. I was shocked to see your rejection from Pepperdine. I have not heard from them, but I got an interview out of them a couple of months ago as well. Miami is a great choice, but for me it's a long distance to get the same weather. Your options look pretty good. I hate this waiting list stuff. My brother was on 9 waiting lists last year and got into 8 of them. Keep your chin up. Something good is bound to happen.
Probably Loyola, but Mason is certainly ranked higher. I've never seen Mason, but you can bet that if I get in, then I will pay a visit there. I had never even heard of Mason until they sent me a fee waiver, whatever the hick that was all about. Hey they may be playing my school in the basketball finals.
