dued, how much does being deferred from UIUC blow? Grrr... congrats on Hastings- I'm still waiting to hear. It'll be interesting to see if there are any differences in our schools since our stats are identical. laaater!

OSU is my top choice... but they're making it hard on me because they're the only school thus far to not offer me money! You got some nice money, also!

Just out of curiosity, did you put in for the Moritz Scholarship at OSU? At the admitted student day, they said that if you were considered for it, you would not know your scholarship package until March! Argh!

Yeah, UO seemed to take *forever*. Congrats on your acceptance, too! As an Oregon resident, UO's $8K and LC's $18K make the tuition pretty much equal for me. The decision making is going to kill me! Are you leaning toward a specific school right now?

I agree. I know they've looked at my application by now and am encouraged by the fact that I haven't recieved a rejection. I'm thinking I'm in the waitlist pile, but it'll probably depend on who withdraws and who sends deposits in the next few weeks. Thanks for the encouragement.

Thanks for the congrats about Davis! I guess this means your acceptance will be coming shortly :). Ya, the status checker gives you a pdf version of an acceptance letter, so that's pretty cool.

Hii! Just checkin up on your cycle- congrats on all your acceptances! Where are you leaning toward? Right now I'm between Hastings and Davis, but leaning toward Hastings because of their focus on biglaw and Davis' big drop in the rankings. I hope to get into UIUC though! Anyway, keep me updated!

Yea, I'm planning on riding it out, but you're right- UIUC is notorious for being lsat whores. It sucks that one more point would have probably got me/us in, but whatev. Now that their ranking has gone down 2, maybe I have more of a chance. Well, congrats on your UWashington acceptance! That is an awesome school!

OH MAN can you believe they priority waitlisted us?? I mean, I'm thinking they did it as a way of honoring our GPAs or something, aka polite rejections, but it still makes me happy!! I was starting to think that all schools care about is the LSAT, so it's a breathe of fresh air :)

no WAY am I withdrawing from UVA haha!! Ya, I was priority waitlisted too. It's awesome that you're withdrawing from all the schools you know you don't want to go to. I would do that, but I feel like I would still definitely consider any school I'm currently on the waitlist for. I just want to keep my options open, because I'm not 100 percent content yet to go to either hastings or davis, and I have no clue which one to pick of the two either. ohhh sigh. I just wanted to say congrats on making your decision! UW is great. I went for a visit in March and I loved it. I may be there in the fall, but I haven't decided quite yet. Good luck to you!
