I can't take the lsat in Dec because I'm scheduled to complete my PhD by Dec 31 st. So I'm just going to see how far the rest of my application and my PhD will take me. Plus, I tend to score ave on standardized test regardless of how well I do in a program and I included that in my addendum.
did Pepperdine actually notify you complete, or is that date just when you think you were complete?
What did the USC rejection letter look like? I'm assuming I'm gonna be rejected there and I wanna be prepared :(
I wonder the same thing as gusigma307... what did the SC rejection look like?
The USC rejection letter comes in a small envelope. The acceptance info comes in a big white envelope.
How on earth did whittier think they could waitlist you? IM SHOCKED
I was shocked myself. Maybe they thought I would never go there... I don't really have a good answer.
how did you hear?
thank you VERY much! yes, the scholarship came with the accept. letter. they also called me a few weeks later to inform me via phone. you plan on attending?
hofstra, im looking for a place in manhattan right now, id rather live there than in long island. cal western is better than whittier, so that is great that you have been accepted there! but, if you get into SW def. go there. goodluck to you!
oops. i have not heard back from southwestern yet! i think i hit the rejected by accident. lol. i should find out soon!
I feel totally cheated. How about you?
Thanks for withdrawing once you made your decision...it gives the rest of us a little ray of hope :-)
I think attending CAL Western is a good choice (And most likely where I will end up). However, I might take Southwestern and I would take UNC over it. Then again if you are going to spend three years of your life somewhere, San Diego is a very nice place to do it.
hey there...thinking about applying to cal western...do you think its too late to do so?
congrats on cwsl..im atttending there myself..have u recieved financial aid package?
have you received anything from loyola where they gave you an id # to check your app status online? Also, have you considered retaking the lsat? Most schools youre applying to have avg. and median ranges above your score. If you raised it some, I imagine it would help your chances dramatically. (however, I understand that there may be some reason that you haven't opted to take it again. You might not be a good test taker or that that score might have been at the higher end of your practice exams). Anyways, best wishes with your applications.
