Did you go to landers? Or are you just guessing?

How do you know I'm frum? You frum? So, my numbers are irrelveant to NYU and it's more of a discriminatory issue??? I can understand the CUNY part, it's not your most prestigious college. But the frum part shouldn't be an issue. I'd believe that more with Columbia. Nothing surprises me though. Still hoping!!

Thanks

Thanks for the message. I'm really torn between NYU and Harvard. Like you, I wasn't that interested in Columbia. What factors tipped you towards NYU? I noticed you were finance, and figured if you wanted to do corporate you would lean towards Harvard?

Thanks!

NYU over Harvard, eh? You've certainly got gumption! ;)

Congrats

Are you definitely going to NYU at this point or still considering Yale?

frum people do not tend to hear late. thats so ludicrous and silly. i know PLENTY of frum guys and gals who have been admitted a long time ago- and plenty who were rejected also. to cry discrimination because youre impatient is pretty childish, especially when youre talking about schools with relatively enormous frum populations given national demographics and their competitiveness. seriously, you do a disservice by asserting something so ludicrous.

thanks

thanks

Thanks. Right now it's pretty much between NYU and Columbia. I am visiting both of them this weekend...

It takes balls to refuse Harvard. That said, hope to see you at NYU next year :) Hope, they gave you $$ to compensate ;)

Columbia

Just wondering why you're so down on Columbia. I visited on Tuesday and came away fairly impressed - I liked the facilities better than NYU's and the students didn't look as miserable as I had been told. Could have been the low expectations of course...

Financial Aid?

I was wondering if you got any fin aid from NYU? Feel free to e-mail me if you don't want to post it. For the record I don't think there is anything wrong with chosing NYU over Harvard. You wouldn't believe the shit I took form people for not applying to Harvard.

Ya, pretty annoying. Thought I'd get in. I actually plan on sending them some updated information. Hopefully that'll help. Doubt it will though. From what I've heard, additional updated info is negligible in most law schools. Doesn't hurt trying though... Hope to see you next year!
