Yeah, go ahead and take the Feb. LSAT. It can't hurt you at this point, and if you jump up it can only help you. I have a feeling that it will have more impact for next cycle if you choose not to go to the schools you get into this cycle.

Yea I was thinking the same thing. I usually PT between a 163-167 but I bombed the Logic Games section, damn stain glass widows lol.

I wish you good luck on your cycle as well and I actually think you will far off better than me because your LSAT score is higher than mine, and most schools would rather admit someone with a better LSAT score and lower GPA. We are applying to a lot of the schools so I will be watching your profile! I hope you receive some acceptances into your reach schools!!!

I hope so too man, I've been driving myself insane constantly checking status checkers everyday. I should really stop but I can't help it. I just want one good acceptance under my belt like American and I think I would be set. But yea, this will be the month!!!

ugh I dunno, sure I might have a higher LSAT but you make up for it with your higher GPA, and your softs and everything else look stellar so I don't know....but thanks for the encouragement :)

Congrats on American, but make sure to keep your eyes on the prize! Good luck this weekend on your retake, but keep in mind that if you can break 160, you could move much much higher up in the rankings by reapplying next year. At the very least, American should offer you nothing short of a 1/2 tuition scholly!

I think for each school it really just depends on your numbers and softs, and what that school in particular really stresses. Which schools haven't you received a response from that others have? I still haven't heard from American. I guess they don't know what to do with my file lol.

I'm leaning towards northeastern. I love the campus, the co-op program, and the lack of cutthroat atmosphere. American is in a great location so you definitely cannot go wrong with that decision.

Eh forget about MSU. You got into American and are getting good money from other schools. The only thing going for MSU is sports.

Yea it's been a real rough last couple of weeks, been flooded with rejections left and right. I'm back to wanting just one acceptance again, from one decent school in CA...

I sent out LOCI to the schools I'm really interested in (UMD, Washington and Lee) I'll get to the rest soon lol!

They haven't reviewed my app because they want my fall semester grades in order for my file to be complete. So I'm just withdrawing.

Don't worry too much about a tough week and a WL at a school you should have gotten into. Employers in the bay are still a bit skeptical of GG after their ABA issues of a few years ago even though they are fully accredited now. Plus you still have several schools in Cali still pending. Finally it's the end of mardi gras and tomorrow is ash wednesday. Therefore, drink with others tonight and by yourself tomorrow.

I'm pretty confident the job market will rebound in the coming years. Obviously Chicago has way more jobs in general, but the debt incurred from Kent would be tough for me to manage.

It ends up being a tough call. More debt for higher job prospects, or less debt and low job prospects. Let me know what you decide. Cheers!

Thanks man, I'm on some preferred waitlist that says that it's a small list than the regular waitlist and most commonly, all applicants on it will get in. I'm crossing fingers and toes!!! It's weird how these things turn out huh...I don't even know how they wouldn't at least place you on the WL and then you get WL and accepted at places i get downright rejected...so unpredictable...

Not yet, still waiting on some more schools but we'll see. Arizona let me via snail mail, but on the status checker, you'll see a congratulations if you're accepted and a simple decision made if you're WL/rejected.

Well you have the ability to crack into the top tier, but do you have the time to waste a year? Getting a higher score will open up plenty of new possibilities and will ensure more scholarship money. If waiting another year isn't that bad of an option improving your lsat even 5 points will probably get into into the top 25. I'd guess even the top 20 would be possible.

No and I have until Weds (tomorrow) to deposit. I'm not sure i should attend because I do not think i will fair very well in the DC law market upon graduation.

Thanks for the advice. I am still considering just makeing the deposit at CWRU, and if worst case scenario I don't get off of the wait lists from the schools of my choice I can apply as a transfer student. I have done the LOCI, and visited the schools of my top choice, I will be checking in with them now at least bi-weekly now. So that they can remember me lol!

Yes I did! I was deferred on 2/3 and I sent one about 2 weeks later.

Usually when schools ask you how interested you still are you are at the top of there list and they are thinking of selecting you. So that's a good thing from GW. I think I'm also pretty set on CWRU. It's getting pretty late now in the summer and I have to start finalizing things.
