Hey, are those dates for depaul accurate? Man they got back to you within 3 days of being complete huh? I'm waiting for depaul too but I figure I'll get rejected as well but I gotta hope right?
It's kind of weird yo haven't heard back from American, we have similar numbers and they got back to me last week
It first updated the checker then i got an email a couple hours later
When did you go in review?
they dont send out financial info until march i believe, there pretty stingy

Its going to be a good month for you i can feel its, still surprised you haven't heard back from some of your schools, but nothing is better than a rejection.

I found out via status checker actually. Didn't receive an email or snail mail yet...I just discovered it during one of my hourly status checker visits haha.
It actually wasn't a waitlist, it was simply a defer. I couldn't find an option for deferral so I just chose waitlist instead.
Nice things happen to those that wait, as that being said its the time when decision should start to roll considering most school are hitting their deadlines
I know it must feel demoralizing but hang in there, people like us who shotgun applications will undoubtedly receive a majority of rejection letters but you'll get your acceptances soon.
I don't know really, as of right now I am leaning towards American because money isn't a big issue for me considering I have no undergrad debt. I'll wait and see how everything plays out up until April 1.
Thank you! TBH it was not my top choice but that all depends on the rest of my unpredictable cycle. I might just end up having to go there if that's the best I can do, ya know? Hang in there!
Do you have an idea why all of the other shot-gunners that applied around the same times us are hearing back faster than me? And also you haven't had any updates from american they usually have a quick turnaround
I think it's a testament to the fact that splitter cycles are always unpredictable. Not that I'm really a splitter, my stats just aren't that good in general haha. Yea no kidding on the American, I seriously thought we would have heard back like 2-3 weeks ago, but they're taking their sweet time on us. But damn WL at W&L and Pitt? Send that LOCI pronto if you haven't already!
sent you a sweet rejection letter. Mine was a generic yada yada yada letter. GU sent me a nice rejection letter. Still stinks being rejected, but at least it's nice when you feel like they actually thought about you as a person. Good luck with your cycle.
I don't think I'm hearing back from American today, the only 6 people I see who received decisions today on LSN have a very narrow range of numbers. In fact, they were all admitted with a 165 and a gpa higher than 3.6 so...:(
The schools were GULC, Chi kent, GW, hostra and my new york schools
Give me an region you wouldn't mind practicing and I will give you some good safe schools
Utah, Syracuse,pacific, San Fran and the university of akron. These school would all be safe schools for you so take your pick
Email, if it says desicion made on your online status checker, I would check your spam folder cause an email should go out.
I know you'd rather have acceptances, but those are some VERY impressive WLs...and at least a couple of those should pull through for you. GL!!

I gotcha, if can afford it I would deposit and wait out my waitlist. I would send in more loci and visit school your able to, I would send in a lsat addendum and update transcripts from the spring when available. But, if you dont want to sit out a year i deposit at case which is a good school but regional. In the end it is all about who you know anyway. I'm am confident you should be able to get off some of those list if you hit all the waitlist steps. Have you ever been on tls?

I dunno about the last poster, but I've certainly gotten a lot out of following your posts as they are.
I had sent a LOCI after I was wait lsited in February. Honestly, I had low expecations for anything coming of it. They emailed me in late april asking if I was still interested in attending, and I responded that I was. Two days later I got a call and an offer. The only thing that I did in my LOCI to seperate me from the pack was tell them that if they accepted me, I would attend. Best of luck!
submitted LoCIs to all the schools I was waitlisted to and I now believe that those letters really do play an important role when schools begin to look over their waitlists. It is clearly not as important as your stats, but it definitely may get you admitted over a similar or slightly more qualified applicant!

I wasn't aware of a preferred wait-list. I was just told in a correspondence that I was placed on "the wait-list." When I received the wait-list notice and accepted it, I asked a prof of mine to write a letter on my behalf and I also wrote a "Letter of Continued Interest." To tell you the truth, I am surprised at the acceptance. I truly am thankful.
SO you going to the military huh? Honestly..for someone with a lsac waiver I dont think you applied to enough schools. I mean u didnt even try to apply to any real good schools. No USC, no UCLA, Florida state, memphis, St.Johns..I mean like schools that have a history of of accepting blacks with split numbers. Anyway..wish u luck..im watching to see what happens with you.

I put the deposit down for UMD to play it safe, but I will still be participating in the GMU Summer Trial prgm. If I get into GMU, (I should know if I did or not by June-ending) there is a strong possibility that I will enroll there instead. Until then, I am still in limbo.
