I am nervous as hell! I hope I get accepted somewhere soon!

Yes, I did interview. I interviewed with the enviro law department... I thought it went well. I really liked the campus and everyone seemed really nice. Perhaps, I'll see you there!

Here's the deal: I applied to the FT division and they called to congratulate me on my acceptance to the PT division. I asked what the deal was and they said something to the effect that they expect this year's incoming class to be at least as competitive as the class last year. So they just made the executive decision to toss me in the PT. I didn't get a letter saying I was deferred but that's what it essentially is for the FT division. Hope this is helpful.

i heard from quinnipiac about two weeks ago, since the letter went home and i am in hawaii i dont know what it looked like or anything, just heard rom my parents. best of luck.

BlackJesus, The letter was dated 12/22, but I got it today (I live in Kansas). The letter came in a big white envelope. Thanks for the congrats, I'm psyched. Are you familiar with the university and city?

Actually I'm from the detroit area and my entire extended family is from toledo. Both my parents went to UT for law school. ITs a very nice school. This year they chose not to renew their dean and the assistant dean is taking over (not sure why this happened...everyone loved the old dean and he is staying on to continue teaching). The building is nice and has been added on to. ITs actually identicle to when my parents went there, but its been kept up well. Not sure if I'll end up there or what, my girl freind is hoping to enter a PHD program in Economics, and they only have a masters...so we'll see. Congrats again! P.S. you have nearly identicle numbers to my best friend so its encouraging to see you accepted there.

...on WNEC! It is always a good feeling to have choices. Thank you for you support on 4LS. I am ok with my OSU rejection, I probably would not have actually gone there anyway with my other acceptances.

ehh dont let it get u down, a girl with our same lsats and a tad lower gpa then mine got into Q with close to a full ride, so i guess theres no set formula to this... good luck man i bet you will make it. is it ur top choice? keep me posted!

What do you think about NYLS... I've heard some pretty negative things about it, but I'm still considering since I would love to go to school in the city. I feel like I have been waiting on them forever!!! Hopefully we will both get some good news soon!

Just wondering if you received a lot of junk mail from Brooklyn even though you weren't accepted. I've been getting mail from them and it's been giving me some hope. But I don't want to be in for a bad surprise.

I'm still waiting on a decision from Cleveland Marshall, It's taking long and wearing on me. When is the deadline for your seat deposit; that may shed some light and ease my pain--depending on when it is.

ok, so I got into NYLS and I heard bad things, too. is it really so bad? and, in your opinion, do you think Pace is any better? if i don't try to make a decision soon i'm gonna go absolutely nuts. i'm really waiting on brooklyn, who are taking the longest freakin' time to decide about me which makes me nervous.

Cleveland State's whole campsu is really nice. I used to lock all the buildings at night (security job) including the Law building. I'm excited to attend. All the faculty and the new Dean are approachable and concerned. Hope to see you there. Buffalo was my first choice, but I couldn't pass up C-M.

Good news..i visited buffalo recently and met w/ dean, she just happen to mention that they have not started removing people from waitlist...so honestly blackjesus i think u have a great shot..i would write secondary letters of support to buff..mention specific programs, faculty etc....one letter to adm. com and one to dean wiley-upshaw...seriously u should consider that..if u need any pointers and i can be helpful in any way let me know...i visited the school and absolutely luv it..and it was never on my list for #1 initially...LOL how ironic.best of luck!

Ya, I dunno what happened. It was just an ordinary rejection letter - I imagine the same as if I hadn't been on the WL. I didn't follow up though, as I've already sent my seat deposit elsewhere. I'm sure you won't have a problem getting off their waitlist (favorably) though - your numbers are in their range. Good luck to you!

Albany waitlisted me initially (small thick envelope) with waitlist forms, and then later rejected me in letter form (again, a small envelope). Hope that helps. Good luck!
