Dude...I feel your pain. I haven't received any news either. Penn State would be one of my top 2 and I really want to get in. I hope the best for you! I guess at this point hearing from 1 school would make me feel a little better.
be a great school to go to. i moved, so i really miss san diego. but i went to ucsd, which is a bit away from sdsu and usd. i hope we get in! happy holidays!

yay, congrats, i'm so happy for you! doesn't it feel great to have the first one under your belt? It can only go up from here! denver is a great school, very solid, and it's one i'm really considering. looking at the movement after graduation it looks like a majority of people stay in-state. i'd eventually like to return to CA, but CO is a beautiful state. maybe we'll both end up there. but i wouldn't count us out at some of the other schools yet!
I got an acceptance email from DU this morning too... DUCK fan? Did you go to Oregon?
Actually, I don't know yet. I'd like to wait it out a little longer for some other schools before I visit. I should check when the last day to RSVP is. Are you going? I want to go after the snow melts actually, :P.
I'm glad I'm not the only one waiting for a response from USD and SC. I didn't know that they didn't give status info by email. I was going to call them but I guess I'll just sit back and wait some more.

first off, congrats on penn state! that's great news. as for sd, an acceptance would be great, but i'm really not counting on them. it's pretty late in the app process, so i guess i'm just trying to brace myself. i've been looking into UD and what people have been saying about it on message boards and it's pretty interesting mixed reviews. regardless, if you excel at which ever school you decide to attend, i think employers will take that factor into strong account over where you attend. (from what lawyers at the firm i worked at told me.) but don't get me wrong, everyone loves a top 20.
there are plenty of firms that hire usd grads in socal. Snell & Wilmer, Gordon & Rees, Lewis Brisebois, just to name a few.
Sorry to see you got rejected at Santa Clara. Now I know my chances there are nil. It would be great if San Diego accepted you. I'll cross my fingers for you.
i am from san diego as well, and am seriously considering DU! what made you pick it, have you visited yet?

Hey congrats on DU, i'm living in boulder now so I already know lots of shady bars in Denver, you might have to root for the avalanche now! haha
with our numbers being so similar, i would think you would get into Penn State too... they're sending out email decisions so check often! also, i went to university in san diego! did you go to school in SD too?
