Don't let an anonymous person on here, especially one that refers you to JDunderground, shake your confidence. Right now the market may be not so hot, but WHAT JOB MARKET IS? If you can see 3 years into the future, then maybe you don't do the school thing. if you're set on being a lawyer, go to school and kick butt. People that are hanging around JDunderground are just bitter, and it's a far more biased site than you will find anywhere

did you get a decision render on 2/8 from USF? If so, did you get any email from them today saying you been accepted?

Goodtobeking: I received snail mail from USF today stating I've been placed on the waitlist... sadness! Did you get accepted?

Hey, Haylie I got your message regarding GGU and sent you a long message. As a sidenote to anyone looking at T-4 attrition rates the main reason for high 1-L attiriton rates at T-4's is due to transfers. GGU and other T-4's do not have a mandatory cut. You can look at the student handbook of GGU and see that 90% of the class can get an A or B and there is no mandatory D's or F's. Everybody can pass and after first semester everyone in my section is still there.

no I don't think I'm going to goto Golden Gate. They ma be offering a lot of $$....but they're reputation isn't good at all....and I don't think I would get a job after graduation. That's what also worries me about USF...its hard to compete for jobs with Hastings, Cal, Stanford, and Santa Clara all around here!

That's definitely helps with my decision making! @ ir856: I understand your concerns, those are the same ones I share. But at this rate, with my numbers, I'm taking what I can get and making the best out of it. I'm not interested in big law, so ranking isn't that much of a concern.

hey there...just wanted to drop a quick comment to say good luck w/ sw...i also have the "decision mailed" status on my status checker for sw. I'm a bit nervous now to check the mail...lol.. congrats on your other acceptances ....btw, i deleted all negative anonymous posts. I get them from time to time but they don't phase me so don't let it get you down when people post stupid comments on your wall like that.

Luvtoolearn, Did you get into SW? G'luck! I hope it's good news for you. As of right now, my two decisions are GGU or WUSL. GGU seems more appealing cause after law school, I'm looking to practice law in California. But then again, WUSL has a lower living cost. Ideally, I'm hoping to get off USF waitlist.

Hey, haylie thanks for the comment on my page right now I sent in a deposit to Golden Gate but I am waiting to see if I get off the wait list at McGeorge, since I live near Sac and I would prefer to work in Sac.
