Wishing you the best on the LSAT. It's too bad what an emphasis is placed on the test. I took it twice, only to get the same exact score the second time, even though I studied A LOT. Unbelievable.
Hey-I got the exact same score on the January test.. Drat- 145! Good luck to you. Hopefully we will hear something sometime soon!
Congrats on Ave Maria! Good luck for Albany.
Thanks for the note. I did look at Ave Maria but a little scared to go there based on the principles of the founder. Anyways, just got rejection from University of Maine- not really surprised. Sort of hoping for WNEC. Would love to go there. Anyways, good luck to you!
Thanks! I will be withdrawing from Albany this week. Good Luck!!!
To answer your question, I don't technically have a safety school. I have a few I think I have a chance of getting into, a few that will be close, and a few reach schools. My game plan as of right now is to attend whatever school I get into in the fall and then transfer my second year to a more reputable school. Hopefully I will get into a few schools in order to have a little bit more control in the situation, but all I need is one! lol If I don't get accepted in the fall I will try again the following year and apply for both my MBA and law degree. Every semester except for one I've had above a 3.5 GPA and even have 12 A + on my transcript, but my school doesn't reward anything above an A even though they take of for an A-. I wish you the best of luck and if you ever need to vent or discuss your journey, please feel free to message me on here or through email.
and good luck to you as well! It really does suck having a low LSAT, but I'm just hoping that the rest of my schools look beyond just my score and concentrate on other things...
I am living proof that even with a low lsat, schools will look at other factors. Just stay optomistic and follow your dreams!
I hear you on sucking at the LSAT!! lol. I have no idea why I was wait listed at Boulder - it came as a complete shocker since they have the highest scores of all schools I applied to. Now that I've been rejected everywhere except Boulder they will be my one & only saving grace :) good luck on your application process.
= letter of continued interest
Thank you for your comment! I know that we will get into a good enough school that will help us pass the bar. At this moment, I have absolutely no idea where I'm going to end up going. These next couple of weeks are going to be crazy stressful while I try to figure things out. I wish you the best for the rest of this cycle too! I'm going to check out your page for updates. Im hoping for more great news to come your way very soon!
Good luck with your widener app.. I sure as hell love them lol
I see you are still pending for CUNY. I didn't hear a word after I applied, but I got a notification by mail yesterday. Perhaps you letter was mailed back in that group as well. Keep your eyes open.
Sorry about Albany :( But yeah, Widener got back to me pretty quickly. I was accepted for the FT program at the Harrisburg campus. I'm going to visit there in a few wks. I'm really hoping to be accepted off of the Case waitlist though.
Yes it was just a rejection form letter. "Thanks for applying, but no thanks." That is all I heard from CUNY -- oh well.
Sorry to hear about WNEC. We have virtually identical numbers, but I haven't heard back yet. When did you find out? I hope the rest goes ok for you.
I loved the faculty. They are very distinguished, high profile, and an extremely helpful bunch it seems like. The students seemed great. Although it is competitive, they said that people are always willing to lend a helping hand. The school has a history of high bar passage rates upwards of 96%. If I had to pick a drawback I would have to say that its the fact that they make you take 60hrs of required courses as opposed to say 40-45 at other schools.
Thanks for the info on WNEC. I hope the rest turn out well for you. Wishing you all the best.
I see our scores are virtually identical. I just wanted to say good luck to you! Think positive. I took Feb LSAT too- will be a long wait! Good Luck!
