26 May 10 - I went Knoxville this weekend and found a great townhouse in Sequoyah Hills. Each time I go back to Knoxville I love it more and more. I know that I made a good decision and look forward to starting in August. I gave the admissions office my second seat deposit while I was there as well.

15 Apr 10 - I sent out my first seat deposit today for UTK. I plan on attending, but will stay on the waitlist at William and Mary to see if there is a decision. I will be going to Knoxville for about a week in May to look for housing.

06 Apr 10 - Received my rejection letter from Alabama today.
Will update once I hear some more from William and Mary. But, initially I plan on attending UTK. I received a scholarship and can nearly attend for free, so even if I were accepted at William and Mary I don't know that I would necessarily attend.

19 Mar 10 - Well got a pleasant surprise today. Received an email that stated I was waitlisted at William and Mary. Looks like I may need to take a trip out to Williamsburg now.

17 Mar 10 - I am attending Tennessee's Law Preview Day next friday, it should be a pretty good time and I look forward to meeting some of my prospective classmates.

09 Mar 10 - As expected, rejected at UF. I'm planning on attending the Law Preview Day at Tennessee later this month. I'm really looking forward to that and doing a little house hunting.

01 Mar 10 - Decision letter in transit at UF. Assuming another rejection.

17 Feb 10 - Denied at Arizona. Guess I'm not moving out west.

05 Feb 10 - Denied at Houston. Apparently the Texas schools really don't like me. Sent out my withdrawal letter to UALR.

02 Feb 10 - Finally got my rejection letter from SMU. Figured it was coming, since I never received a call from the dean and had a decision rendered last thursday.

28 Jan 10 - Rejected at Baylor through snail mail. Status checker at SMU has changed to decision rendered.

22 Jan 10 - Accepted at Arkansas-Little Rock via email.

17 Jan 10 - Just returned from Knoxville and was extremely impressed with Tennessee College of Law. The admissions staff was great and my tour was tailored specifically for me. The facilities are very nice and the town has a lot of outdoor activities available. After this trip I decided I'm going to withdraw from the other schools I have been accepted at. I am still waiting to hear from many of my reach schools, so haven't made a decision yet, but I have a good feeling about UT.

08 Jan 10 - Sent letters withdrawing my admission from Michigan State and Texas Tech.

07 Jan 10 - Accepted at Buffalo through snail mail. Pretty pumped about this one. I'm originally from upstate NY and somewhat familiar with the area. I'm going to Knoxville next weekend to visit Tennessee. I should have a better idea of my initial intentions after that trip.

04 Jan 10 - Finally back in the states. I came home to a lot of mail that had built up. In that mail I learned that my application is put on "hold" at Louisville. It was explained that they want to have a larger picture of the applicant pool before making a final decision. Hopefully more decisions to follow shortly.

20 Dec 09 - My roomate checked my mail for me and sent me a message that I got rejected at my alma mater. Kind of bummed about that one. Still leaning toward Tennessee right now.

14 Dec 09 - Got email notification from Ohio State that I was denied. Withdrew my application from Memphis.

08 Dec 09 - Had my buddy check my mail (I'm currently abroad). He confirmed I was accepted at Tennessee, and also confirmed I was rejected at Texas and Georgia. He then told me I was accepted by Texas Tech and U of Miami. I will provide dates of acceptance above once I receive the actual letters from him. Nothing yet from FSU.

04 Dec 09 - Decision made at FSU (My alma mater); no seat deposit credit, so I'm pretty sure it will be a reject or waitlist. More to follow...

03 Dec 09- Admitted at Michigan State via status checker. Also, UF tracker says "reviewed by committee; decision pending".

02 Dec 09 - Decision has been rendered and mailed from Texas Tech. Guess I wait and see now.

30 Nov 09 - Checked Tennessee tracker and it said "Congratulations! Your admissions letter has been mailed" I called to confirm (Which I will do every time from now on) and the admissions rep told me it was true and I should recieve the letter soon.

30 Nov 09 - Well I think the UGA status checker fiasco is over. "Your request for admission was denied."

16 Nov 09 - Received online status checker from UALR; the email I recieved had a link for the status checker - which said it was complete.

09 Nov 09 - Received online status checker from Michigan State. My status is "file complete".

08 Nov 09 - Denied at Texas via online status checker.

06 Nov 09 - I got accepted to Arkansas! What a huge relief, I had gave up on this week. I don't know what to do with myself right now and it really hasn't sunk in that I'll officially be going to law school next year.

05 Nov 09 - Received an email from William & Mary with online status checker. My status says "Initial Review Complete/Decision Pending" as of 10/8/09. Don't really know what that means. Also, my UGA status has been "Updating...please check back later" since yesterday afternoon.

04 Nov 09 - Received confirmation that my file with William and Mary has been complete for a while. Also, received an email with my online status checker for texas tech. It says my "file is in review" as of 22 Oct 09.

29 Oct 09 - Congrats to all of you who have been accepted. I've been checking every form of correspondence multiple times throughout the day!

08 Oct 09 - I applied online to U of Arkansas earlier this cycle and finally got a request for my LSDAS report. Still waiting on a few schools to give me confirmation that my file is complete. Aside from that all applications are out.

06 Oct 09 - Well I finally have all my applications sent out. I am waiting to here from a few still whether my files are complete. I also called U of Arkansas and was told that my application I submitted in August was being tracked by them. I guess they will begin requesting LSDAS reports this week. It feels good to at least have all my apps out there. Will feel even better to know they are all complete!

03 Oct 09 - Just found out that Baylor has an online status checker that you need to sign up for. File complete under review. They never mentioned anything about this in the email I received saying it was complete. Still my fault for not checking this.

29 Sep 09 - Received my online status checker for Alabama. It shows my status as complete.

20 Sep 09 - Recieved an email from Texas with my online status checker info. I went to the website and it displayed my application as complete. Texas is my number 1, I've already mentally prepared myself for rejection.

15 Sep 09 - Miami contacted me and said my file was complete. I'll be sending out another 3-5 applications by the end of the week.

10 Sep 09 - FSU status checker shows application is complete.
