I guess if I get into both, I'll definitely also need to think about which one is a better fit too, though I'm leaning towards Hastings. I'm getting really anxious about not being in the first round of acceptances. I'm thinking of visiting Hastings in order to inspire myself to write a really compelling LOCI. Strangely, the Davis status checker indicates that my application hasn't even be reviewed yet, so I guess I have a while before I can expect a decision. Good luck!!!

I bet you'll get in -- good luck!! From everything I've heard, their major disqualification this year is sub-3.5 GPAs.

congrats on davis! if you get into hastings as well, which one would you choose?
i'd pick hastings cus i love the city, but i can definitely understand why someone would chose davis instead, its a really awesome school.

I would be totally happy to go to hastings! if i get into davis then i'll seriously have to think about it! I'm shocked you didn't get straight into hastings! I'm just waiting for davis and UCLA now, i'm not even thinking about berkeley 'cause i know i have no chance! ha! good luck in davis!! maybe i'll see you there!
Congrats on Davis! Thats my top choice right now. I got into hastings, but if you think about it with the cost of living being so high in Frisco, and the cost of living being so low in Davis, plus considering that they are roughly ranked the same... to me its better to spend 3 years somewhere thats not as nice if it means getting to live somewhere better when you get out (due to less of a student loan). I just wish Davis would get back to me already, it seems like they are taking a while to get back to everyone!
