I hope your OCT score comes out to be what you want. I received fee waivers thru LSAC only.

Thursday, October 07 2010 at 08:00 PM

I received either email or letters for all my fee waivers. Some of the fee waivers were through LSAC, some were right from the admissions offices of the schools. They base it off your lsat/gpa, Columbia came right out and said it was based purely on my lsat score. Basically i wouldn't expect any fee waivers until your score gets reported. best of luck

Thank you! I actually emailed Minnesota asking about something else and they replied with a fee waiver. I also emailed a few other schools expressing interest and asking for fee waivers and most of them were able to give them to me. Good luck!

Thanks for the wishes! I knew going into the application process that $ would be an important factor in my decision, so I figured I'd apply to more schools than average. Then when I kept getting fee waivers, I figured I'd spread my net even further. It's actually cost me about the same to apply to 30 law schools as it did when I applied to 6 grad schools (once you factor in the GRE [twice] and the LSAT [once] and costs of overnight mail for grad school). I'd say if you've got the money (or fee waivers) to do it, you should apply to many schools too. You only apply to law school once (hopefully) and its better to have too many offers than too few, right? Best of luck and congrats on a great LSAT score!

Thank you!

Thank you! It really does feel nice to have a couple early accepts... makes it feel real that I truly will be attending law school next year.

thanks! ya we've got a bunch of the same schools, so I'll be watching you too now. I'm sure if you got your W&L app in soon, they'd accept you pretty quickly. And it's free! Good luck with your cycle

Best of luck to you this cycle! Also, I made a rule not to look at my personal statement or resume after I submitted my applications-I figure it could only add more stress!

Thanks so much for your kindness! I envy your Vanderbilt acceptance, haha. I do have a nice option, but it isn't as clear cut for me as most.. just in a weird situation honestly. Good luck on the rest of your cycle!

Thanks a bunch!! Feels good after a long wait, haha. Congrats on UVA, Vandy, and the big $ at IL!

I'm not entirely sure right now, it's between Cornell, Georgetown, or Vandy with the $$$ -- a Penn acceptance might be gamechanging though, what's ur top choice now?

Cornell!
Monday, November 29 2010 at 07:00 PM

I'm thinking Cornell right now...but if NYU magically ponies up some meaningful money--well then I w'll be back at square one. Either way, I love that i have this choice.

Tuesday, December 28 2010 at 07:00 PM

So, will you wait a little longer for Cornell or Michigan wait-lists and later withdraw from them? UVa is AWESOME! CONGRATS! Maybe you just haven't posted it.?.
