Additional info & updates

*I was accepted to ONU on 12-12. I called to see if I was complete and they told me as of the friday before I had been accepted. I was really considering the school so I am happy I got in. Lets see who else will take me now

*12-15 I was deferred at Akron. I figured this would happen. I am also really interested in Akron. They told me in the (mass) email to add to my application package with another letter of recomendation and a letter of contintued interest if I want. My fall grades will also help because I pulled a 3.92. Hopefully they will see a grade trend and along with a recomendation and letter LET ME IN.

* In at University of Toledo on 12-26. I am really pumped about this acceptance because it is a Tier two school and in state for me. Lets keep them coming!

*Accepted at The University of Dayton. I really like the school but do not know if I can afford it!

*Lots of law school action on Jan 22. In at Capital with money (big white envelope). Waitlisted at Hofstra which I will Withdrawl from and Rejected at St. Thomas Minn. which I was not even considering anyways. Ah well.

Congrats on your acceptance to ONU. I was wondering if they notified you when you went complete/to committee or if they only notified you of the decision? Good luck on the rest of your applications!

That is so great! Congrats!! Tier Two and In-State...doesn't get much better than that in terms of affordability!

Maybe I will see you in Toledo! I am still waiting to hear from Cinci and UF, but there is a good chance I will be at UT! Were you admitted into the transitional program?

Congrats on Toledo! I got my "letter" the same day. Lucky you - in-state tuition!

Quick question for you - did you get some weird letter with your Toledo acceptance?

Thanks! I am surprised that more decisions weren't sent out. I do know, however, that the Dean of Admissions recently left (she was elected as a Federal judge) and they are probably trying to fill her position. So I'm thinking they are behind in their review - I know one of the people in the office told me they hadn't processed anything since Christmas! So, hopefully you will be receiving good news soon. What is your top choice?

on Capital. What was your date of application, etc.? Great job.

Thanks

for the reply on Capital. Looks like I've got roughly a month to go, but you never know how long they'll decide to hold it. Four good ones so far, and some loot to boot.

What do you know about this school??

Thanks
Friday, October 27 2006 at 08:00 PM

for the comment. I'm thinking I will most likely end up at CSU. I can still live at home, save money, and spend a lot less on tuition. The school has a great reputation locally, Cleveland is a huge legal market, and they are renovating the entire school. What are you thinking?

Yes, I am considering it! I just have to wait to find out where my husband gets stationed next year. :)

Capital is in the lead for me right at the moment. I still want to take a visit to make sure it will be a good fit. I am still waiting on Northern KY and Dayton. Once, I hear back from them I will make my decision. Good luck the rest of the way!

It's awesome how Toledo is T2 and also in state for you. As for me, I will most likely attend Willamette this fall. Willamette is T3 but is well respected in the Northwest, where I want to end up living.

ncheek cannot follow directions.
