Gone complete yet at UMN?

MN!
Tuesday, November 13 2007 at 11:11 AM

Congrats! I just sent in my app Sunday with similar stats (169, 161)/~3.75, hopefully they admit a few more in that range :) I'm interested to see how you do with NW with the WE and all. Good luck on your cycle.

Why the UMN withdrawal? You like your other schools all more?

boo UVA

aw. can't believe UVA denied you! did you include your minority status on the application? Or did you prefer to not indicate? PS. Congrats on Vanderbilt and Notre Dame!!!! :o)

wow

a: yes. yes and no, but mostly yes. Still, I think I'm going to visit places and see how I feel about them. :)

My cycle
Monday, February 18 2008 at 10:17 AM

Not really sure what will happen yet. I am visiting WashU this week, so hopefully that goes well. A good visit will make it all the more likely I'll end up there. Hoping for Berkeley, but that's doubtful.

dude...

I feel you on that. I like wanna pull my hair out. I can't make up my mind either! Which ones are you shifting between?

Cornell?

Did you not apply to Cornell?

GULC vs WashU
Thursday, March 06 2008 at 07:20 PM

GULC is definitely my top choice between the two especially without money from WashU. I want to go into corporate transactional law on an international level and GULC has the best course selection and programs out of all the schools I am accepted to. I also like the idea of starting PT and easing back into school.

GULC Admitted Students Reception
Thursday, March 06 2008 at 07:21 PM

Are you going to the Admitted Students Reception at the end of the month?

Doin' the WUSTL
Friday, March 14 2008 at 06:11 AM

Thanks, man! Congrats to you as well. You are correct; right now WUSTL is the clear front runner. Top 20 and $75k? That's tough for a ~3.00 GPA to turn down. Although every day that passes without a rejection from Duke (my uber-reach) makes me progressively more hopeful. Barring that miracle acceptance, though, Ima do the WUSTL. What about you? GULC part-time, GWU with the big money, or perhaps WUSTL? Maybe I'll see you there. :D

any closer?
Friday, March 14 2008 at 07:20 AM

It's tough. At the moment it's looking like Cornell or WUSTL ... not entirely sure. You?

thanks
Sunday, March 16 2008 at 07:59 AM

Hey, thanks a bunch. I'm definitely leaning towards Emory, but I'd like to hear back from the 4 that are still out, and I'd like to visit before I withdraw from everywhere. How about you?

WashU
Thursday, March 27 2008 at 11:28 AM

Hey congrats on your decision! what made you choose it over the $$ to GWU?

Congrats on choosing WUSTL!

North Carolina isn't all that bad! You're obviously not in Chapel Hill, probably Charlotte. Ya, charlotte pretty much sucks. St. Louis is going to be great though!

washU
Sunday, March 30 2008 at 07:08 AM

Actually, I am leaning towards WashU! I would rather be in ATL but its hard to justify going to Emory with no money over WashU with 90k. If I get into vandy/ gtown it would be hard to turn those down though!

Hooray WUSTL!

See you in the fall! :D
