Good luck on Notre Dame....I am skeptical about my chances, but hopefully I will be wrong. I feel good about IU-Bloomington, and I think that is where I will probably end up. Godd Luck!

Miami

I don't see how it gets much better than Miami. Not the most prestigious program in the country, but still pretty high on my list just because its South Florida. Why vacation at the beach when you can live there? Good Luck with your apps.

ahhh... south florida :) A successful career is only one aspect of a happy life. Not having to scrape your windshield with a CD case is the other. Good luck back to ya... with your numbers, you probably won\\\'t need much luck, though.

UK

Did UK send you a letter or did they call?

UK sent a letter...

That sucks!

It sucks that you have to keep waiting on ND, how did they notify you?

ND

I sure hope so. They could have rejected me, I guess, so I'll take what I can get...

Congrats,

How did you find out from Indiana? Are you an IN resident?

congrats

congrats on the $$ from indiana-bloomington. i hope to hear from them soon! and i'm with you on the ND train. disappointed, but i guess it could be worse.

IU-B

They sent me a big package priority mail... I'm in KY, so it didn't have but ~100 miles to travel. Good luck to other IU applicants.

what are you thinking as far as additional materials? they letter didn't mention anything. i've never been deferred before...

UK and ND
Tuesday, September 20 2005 at 08:00 PM

UK said they won't be making scholarship decisions until '06. As far as ND goes, I've never been deferred either! I might send another LOR or a letter of interest or something, maybe. I'll wait a while, though, if I do.

Miami

I'm not currently leaning toward Miami. As it is now, the U would cost me more than IU-B and UK, so I'll probably withdraw sometime soon, when I realize that there is NO chance of my attendance there.

Temple

I just couldn't see myself under any circumstances going there over IU-B... plus, I wanted to free up the scholarship money they offered me. Temple is beter than UK, but UK is less than an hour from my house... that's why I'm still considering them...

looks like, if LSN users post accurate information, that none of those who were ED deferred were admitted. kinda sad.

IU!

Just curious...what made you pick IU? (I'm having the hardest time deciding on any schools so I'm always interested on why people pick certain schools, especially if they are ones I got accepted to!)

Congrats on IU
