I'm sorry to hear about Miami. I don't understand that with a nearly 3.6 gpa. Well, hopefully we'll get in later. Also, good luck to your team this weekend. Mine's coming up there with a chip on their shoulder, so you'll probably need it. Ha.

I am very glad to see University at Buffalo Law School on your list. I am a first year student there and the place is AMAZING ! All my professors have their law degrees from Ivy League schools (2 from Harvard Law, 1 from Cornell Law, and 1 from Yale Law--and he wrote the textbook for my Criminal Law Course. The faculty are amazing, it is a very strong Tier 2 school is tuition that is almost impossible to beat !

CONGRATS ON YOUR UB ACCEPTANCE
Friday, January 12 2007 at 07:00 PM

Congrats on your acceptance to University at Buffalo Law School...It is a MUCH HIGHER RATED SCHOOL than Hofstra, Florida Coastal, and Wayne State. I am a first year student at UB and the place is amazing. Even if you are an out of state student the tuition is fantastic. Best wishes !

Car at UB
Friday, January 12 2007 at 07:00 PM

Thanks for your note. Regarding the absolute need to have a car on campus. The answer is NO. There is an EXTENSIVE and FREE OF CHARGE CAMPUS BUS SYSTEM. And you shouldn't have trouble tagging a ride with a classmate when you need to get away from campus.

MD
Sunday, February 10 2008 at 07:00 PM

hey- I have 4 former classmates from Ugrad at U MD Law now, and they all told me the same thing: persistence is key. If you really want to get in, tell admissions that via letter, email, or phone call. They'll be more inclined to take you if they feel confident you will accept an offer of admission. Good luck!

Congrats!
