wow! how did you get accepted so quick by NCCU?

Congrats on your acceptances. I will like to know what variety of classes have you taken to attract attention for law schools?

Could I recommend you apply to Florida Coastal. They keep sending me an invite to apply but unfortunately I have to stay in Chicago. Oh, and their tutition is cheap.

Ideally, since I graduate next month, I would like to go to John Marshall since I can start in January. My second choice is IU Indy but my stats aren't that competitive. Those are my dream schools. John Marshall did push back their app deadline til next week but I don't know if that is good or bad for me. I am applying to NCCU too. Whats you number one choice?

Yeah, waiting is killing me too! My 1st choice is a tie between Howard and Mason, although I'd be happy to go to any of the schools I applied to, except William and Mary.

Hey, thanks for the comment and I am praying for the best, so now its just the waiting for me. My lsat scores are not what I hoped for but I am hoping that a law school can acknowledge my hard work ethic. Good luck on your cycle and maybe if you got to NCCU and I get in we will see each other!!

Hey, I really want to get into NCCU and it has been about 4 weeks now since my file was complete. What do you think my chances are of getting in considering my profile info?

oh i applied to FCU but i forgot to ass to the list thanks! i was thinking of NCCU too...ideally I'd take any school that let's me in! But if I could, I'd go to Miami, Fordham, or American. But I think those may be reaching :( Why isn;t your NCCU acceptance posted? Congrats!

I hope so cause other than Campbell, NCCU is one of the schools I want to get into. I hope I receive some type of aid also. I spoke to one of the current students that attends NCCU and she said I should get in because they don't have a high percentage of Native Americans, so I am biting my nails and crossing my fingers. Are you considering them highly?

How are the apps coming? I just finished mine last night. Any news yet? I should know my first two choices in a few weeks. I did early decision at IU Indy and JM for spring 2009. I hate playing the waiting game but its worth it! :)

I got rejected from Cooley too. It was an unexpected low blow. But I am still optimistic.

I just got a letter from Thomas Cooley saying I am accepted into their qualifying program in March! It's not admission but one step closer. Thats the only good news I have had so far. How is everything else going?

Its going ok here too. I sent in money for the qualifying program but I am hoping for some other schools to pull through but this is the only good news I have heard so far. Are you going?

Oh really? I just did it as a back up plan in case no other school accepts me. If I get into any other school I am going to choose that one instead of Cooley. I still have to hear from NCCU, FAMU, D.C., Valpo and Dayton. Have you heard from anyone else yet?

I think that you have a good shot at conditional admissions with NCCU and FAMU if you get denied at those schools. As for HASTINGS, did you apply through LEOP? Did Cooley offer you conditional admissions? I'd be surprised if they didn't.

LEOP is generally for people with 150 lsat scores that are disadvantaged or that are minorities. Many years ago, they took people under 150's. This LEOP program is generally for 150 and above. I just do not want you to count on this program. I mean, sure...it could happen. I am keeping a watch on your cycle, and I do wish you the very best on this cycle. Maybe Hastings will change their process this year. I will keep my fingers crossed for you! I just wanted to tell you what I knew about LEOP.

have u applied to CLEO? that may be a good way to help with ur cycle :)

looks like my profile was going crazy-did u apply to CLEO? I also recently had a status change from FSU and am nervous because ppl seem to be receiving phone calls...

i was asking because u may want to consider CLEO if ur up for a six week program-they just extended the deadline to Feb. 17th! I hope to move to FL so right now any pick is good! Y no FL Coastal? U were the one who told me to apply there! :)

Hello, MissLaw. Once again congrats on NCCU. You're really giving me hope on my chances because our numbers are so identical. I'll cut a backflip if you get into UC Hastings which is an excellent school!

Miss Law 87, just wanted to let you know that I am so happy for you. I wish you much success with law school. My 2 top picks are NCCU & FAMU, I am hoping for an acceptance from either or. However, I don't have the lsat score--less than yours. But an okay gpa. With a bunch of soft factors. Like you "I know my scores are low, but I am keeping the faith that I get in to a law school."...so now I am just waiting! Well it's definately about me, its about you---congrats on your acceptances, and I wish nothing more than success. Hopefully or maybe we will be classmates.

WOW! Congratulations on TWO acceptances! It must be a comforting feeling. I hope to feel that soon...a letter that says welcome to the class of 2012 :)

I will be attending NCCU this fall and right now I am looking at houses and condos to rent. I just put my house on the market so hopefully it will sell pretty quickly. :)

So where are you going. I got 145 and 2.84 gpa. I've been out of school for 12 years. I would love to chat with you. You must apply to Southern University. They have a stronger alumni Network that NCCU and FAMU. I think I will end up at FAMU in they accept me. I'm just getting my apps in now. Check out Texas Southern as well. GREAT OPTIONS if you have nothing holding you down to stay in the state.

I've decided to attend NCCU as well. Have you looked at housing yet?

Congrats on NCCU. It is much better than most of the schools that rejected you.. The National Jurist has it ranked #13 of 25 and the most underrated law school in the country. Good luck!! Looks Like I'll be at southern unless Howard surprise me.

I haven't heard anything from housing yet. I hope something works out.
