I got a letter from Tech last week stating I am in "Active Consideration". Did yours say the same thing? Are you going to withdraw your app. from Tech if you get in somewhere else? Just wondering what your thoughts were. Hang in there!!!

Was an awesome place to spend undergrad. I was deferred -- guess I get to wait until April to hear now. Not really expecting to hear good news, but maybe the alma mater connection will help some haha ... congrats and good luck with Texas.

Congratulations on Tech. It looks like your interview there helped as well. It's a surprisingly good law school. Maybe I'll see you in the fall.
Are you considering SMU? I have similar credentials and I'm dying to go to SMU since my first few choices, UT and UH rejected me. I was wondering why you wanted to go to Tech after receiving $$$$ from SMU? My current top choices are Texas Tech and LSU, but I would take SMU if accepted. I will be at the accepted students day in Lubbock. See you there!!!

UH emailed me to offer me part-time. I did not do anything after I was waitlisted, because I had already decided I wouldn't go. I actually believe the only reason I was waitlisted is because I didn't have ANY letters of recommendation
Hey whats up, I am attending Tech and was curious what your plans are for living situtation.
You will get into South Texas College of Law for sure for fall 2006. They are well known in Houston and the average starting salaries are right up there with teir one schools. Mostly because of the numerous job opportunities in Houston.
