I know its tough but I really hope I can get in RU Newark on deferral

Hey
Wednesday, November 02 2005 at 07:00 PM

I'm thinking about Widener... I heard that it was a really nice place. It all depends, of course. I have to wait to hear from all of the others. What about you, are you interested?

Hey Ive talked to a curernt student about Widener via email and I might go down to the campus and check it out...I want to be sure I really want to go there before spending that much money...plus I'll wait for other schools..

Hello fellow Rutgers grad! Good luck with the Rutgers deferral, I'm hoping for some good news from them soon! Your GPA is great and the fact that you didn't get an outright rejection is something to be happy about! As far as PACE, ED probably would have given you a better chance of admission, but is binding there... did you interview?

thanks
Saturday, September 10 2005 at 08:00 PM

Thanks good luck on RU Newark yourself...I would be so happy if I got in there....as for Pace..yeah I had a good interview....I guess it didn't matter that much--like they said....but the fact they make you wait till August is crazy....

How did you get deferred at Rutgers??
Sunday, August 21 2005 at 08:00 PM

I never new that they had an early admit program. Is it the same as a waitlist? I still haven't heard anything from them yet. I really really want to go there. It is one of my top picks and hopes. Good luck the rest of yoru cycle!

If you're not passionate about it, dont go! It's not worth the debt and 3 years of agony unless you're REALLY driven to it.

Where to go
Thursday, January 12 2006 at 07:00 PM

On your list, Rutgers Newark is the best choice if it works out with them.

Dayton
Sunday, December 11 2005 at 07:00 PM

When you were deferred at Dayton, when did they say they would make their decision?

dayton
Saturday, September 10 2005 at 08:00 PM

westlie...i got into dayton on waitlist...e-mail acceptance...although I would never go there..I applied because it was free on a whim

I only received a letter from RU Newark stating that I will be on the waitlist until around beginning of classes

Retaking LSAT
Wednesday, August 16 2006 at 08:00 PM

Best of luck to you retaking the LSAT. It is a rough test, to say the least. i see you turned down several acceptances from last cycle. Did Widener let you in through the TAP program, or just outright acceptance?

To LegalLatin

Yes, Widener accepted regular admissions in January. I really felt like last year's LSAT did not measure my accurate potential. So I am retaking and hopefully getting into a program like Rutgers Newark if not better.

100,000 on t4
Tuesday, September 26 2006 at 08:00 PM

having myself applied to suffolk, and in lieu of the fact that you seem to be the only one here having been given $$, i have to ask, how on earth do people in boston (great city that it is), afford spending over 100,000 on a t4? kinda interested. thanks.

$$$$$$
Tuesday, February 06 2007 at 07:00 PM

Did Suffolk inform you of the $$ in the initial acceptance letter or in a subsequent one? Thank you.

Syracuse $$
Saturday, February 03 2007 at 07:00 PM

hey, congrats on all your acceptances so far. did you find out about the syracuse $ in your initial acceptance letter or was it separate? im hoping to get $$$$$ too

Albany
Thursday, March 01 2007 at 07:00 PM

Hey, I was wondering what are your thoughts on Albany University. I see that you live in New York, have you had a chance to visit the school. Also, congrats on the money offered from there. Is that a full ride and did that come with the acceptance?

suggestions
Saturday, September 10 2005 at 08:00 PM

I contacted Pace for more money...right now nothing...later perhaps they said....but I put in Pace depost...was happy with it...for Albany - it was a diversity scholarship I got, in fact...

NYLS or Albany
Saturday, December 23 2006 at 07:00 PM

I think I'm going to NYLS though I got into Albany too (without scholarships probably because my foreign GPA couldn't be converted in US GPA).. what would be better if I wanted to practice corporate/international law? thanks

I'll echo what the previous poster wrote. I got an acceptance email that said the package would be mailed in a couple of days. Is it your top choice?
