lsat is what schools look at. you should retake your lsat to match that really really high gpa so you can have options. good luck with your cycle

OMG, congratulations on Loyola...My dream school (well after UCLA, but there is no way). We have similar numbers, so maybe there is hope for me and Loyola :-) When did you go complete? I am desperately waiting to hear from them. Any day now (I hope)

Thanks for stopping by my page. It was getting lonely without any comments from people... ;) Don't let the snotty-nosed 175-LSAT score holders bring you down. I am in the exact same boat as you - standardized tests are my archnemesis. There is more to an applicant than a test score, and I think the adm. cmt. will see that in us (cross the fingers...). Congrats on Loyola, and best of luck on the remaining schools. Spending your law school days along the beaches of Hawaii sure seems like an excellent idea. I'll keep an eye out on your progress which will undoubtedly be pleasantly surprising for you.
On Loyola. It's a great school. To be honest, from what it looks like you just standarized test poorly. If I was you, I'd do the day law at Loyola see how you like it and if you really want to try a D.C. experience or elsewhere think about the possibility of transfering. Of course, that's assuming you don't end up loving it at Loyola, which might be hard to do since I heard the campus is wonderful. D.C. is expensive and part-time is well, part-time. GL with your remaining apps and if you want to talk D.C. let me know.
Hastings was a HUGE acceptance for me. I would say they are my number 1 right now; but, I have to figure out if I can take enough in loans to afford it since its pricey. If by some miracle I get into Davis I'd attend their over Hastings. Make sure to send a letter of continued interest to American ASAP. It'll help you get off that waitlist.
All I can cay is congratulations and I hope you prove the LSAT and other standardized tests wrong. Obviously Loyola knows you can.
Congrats on Loyola! that's a great law school, I have not heard anything from them yet maybe because I applied with a paper application. I am glad that people like us with low LSAT can prove people wrong. I'm going to visit American soon and see how I like it, I hear great things. Good luck with that!
...I was rejected today...:-(. Well I expected it, but I had a little teeny weeny bit of hope. Looks like Western State here I come lol. We'll see, I am waiting to hear from four more. Not expecting any love from UCLA or USCa (you gotta reach for the stars though, right?). I'll be checking on the rest of your applications. Take care
Well, I am not able to relocate right now, so I only applied to schools in my area. If I would not have gotten in anywhere, I would have applied next year again (with the option to relocate). It is fine. i am pretty much thrilled I got in somewhere. :-) I am thinking about trying to transfer. One of my good friends transfered from Whittier to Loyola, so we'll see what happens :-)

I hope I get in. We could potentially be attending the same law school in the fall. American is a really good school. What's the dual degree program. Speaking of road trips, I will be heading out to Los Angeles in April to check out some schools. Thanks for the well wishes!
is a good school as well, but I don't know how much regional clout it has. It sure is a pretty campus though (as with most SoCal law schools).
For the Alabama congrats. They said I'd hear about money later. I applied late and it seems most the schools want to wait before offering anything at all. Realistically, I really liked GW when I visited. But if that's not to be, I'm estatic about the propsects of studying at W&M for law. Also congrats on Oregon!
I've heard that the job prospects aren't that good, especially for high paying legal jobs, given the very steep competition in the DC area they have from top 14 schools and other higher ranked schools. Also, that their financial aid in terms of free money is pretty much non-existent. I've heard that the administration is pretty poor and that the staff is rude/unhelpful and the students don't seem to like it there. This is just what I've read from the internet, but American didn't have what I was looking for anyway, so even if I had read positive things about it I don't think I would go there anyway. Good luck with the wait list but congrats on Loyola. I see you're still waiting on USD as well!

thanks for the congrats. I was a little disappointed however at the small scholarship I was given. Sorry to hear that you didn't like Loyola's campus. I've heard that LA traffic is notorious. The matches start this Friday but we will be heading to Orlando on Thursday. thanks for asking. At least you enjoyed LA. SO there still is a possibility that we will be law school buddies this fall. I just wish they weren't taking so long to get back to me.
