We have similar numbers, and I just got deferred at MSU as well. Good luck to you with your remaining apps!

I cannot believe you were rejected by St. Thomas. Are you sure that's right?

Good Luck

MSU

I gave them my seat deposit at the Admitted Student Day this last weekend. I was very impressed with the school. I still have not made a definite decision that I will go there, but I just figure I can buy a little more time to make my decision by paying the seat deposit.

Congrats!

On your admission to MSU! I haven't made a final decision to attend but in any event I might see you there in the fall.

Wyoming

Honestly, they sent me my acceptance and gave me four days to respond...no scholarship money and after talking to them found out they just don't have a whole lot of money to give. I can go there for 18K or I can go to Washburn or UMKC for less than 12K. I like the towns of Topeka and Kansas City better and found that the people have Wyoming have not been nearly as helpful through this process...they kind of dropped the ball. Plus it is colder there, not as much to do and I think just more opportunities at Washburn and UMKC. I have been to visit all of them and being from Colorado and going to school about an hour from the University of Wyoming...just know it wouldn't probably be for me. Why are you considering it so heavily?

Not sure...

Depends on a lot of different things. I would say I will end up practicing in North Carolina or Colorado. I think as long as you pass the bar in the state you want to practice you will be able to get a job there. Washburn would be as good if not better than Wyoming for practicing in Colorado...Washburn has lots of alumni in Colorado...my neighbor in Colorado is an alum of Washburn. Wyoming is dead and I just don't think I would get as much out of it as I would Washburn.

I see we have similar numbers and have applied to a few of the same schools. Good luck the rest of the cycle...where do you think you'll be headed?

At this point...

I will probably choose Loyola. I don't feel like doing the whole wait and see for Valpo. I am, however, looking forward to hearing from Vermont. Keep me posted!

Where did you end up going? Its funny, we have similar numbers, I am a pike and was on SGA at my school too. If your last name is Lawson, so is my grandmother's maiden name... funny how life is.
