Don't let the numbers discourage you. I encourage you to do some research on the top 25 public and private schools and apply to 3 or 4. Your work experience will play huge factors and your time out of UG will limit the weight placed on your GPA. If I were you I'd give it a shot. And if you're going to go to John Marshall I'd think about the one in Chicago versus the one in Atl only because it's a stronger program. Unless you just don't like the cold. But overall--GOOD LUCK!!!
Good luck to you. I am in Chicago and I have to stay in Chicago, so I know how important it is to get in a school of your hometown. I think you will be fine. I think Howard is in the bag for you. Howard has always been my dream school for law, but with a family and a mortgage things have changed but best of luck to you and I know you will be fine. I am the one who should be worried with my terrible LSAT.

I got large package in the mail from American, one day after I got an email from them saying my application was complete. I withdrew my application from Catholic to give someone else a chance, since if I don't get into GMU I will go to American. Goodluck with you cycle. Where do you want to go?

Looks like you're doing well in the DC area. I think if I get in at Howard I'm definitely going to have to visit. It'll be a toss up between them and Rutgers. But I like the ideas of DC (as much as the idea of NYC or Chicago).
