I took the LSAT this past Saturday as well. I honestly have no clue how I did... I was full of nervous (though not necessarily negative) energy for the first two sections, but was much more calm for the last two sections. Hopefully my athletic I-perform-best-under-pressure schtick still holds true after I see my score.
Where did you see that you'd get your score on Monday? When I go to LSAC>My Docs>LSAT, I just see a list of things I cannot yet print (response sheet, answer sheet, etc.) and an empty box to the right.
The 'Account Status' tab makes all the difference! Blonde moment there. LSAC says I'll get my score on Monday too. I've read on unreliable (online forum) sources that scores are sometimes released earlier. I'll be checking LSAC feverishly this weekend.
I was very frustrated upon receipt of my LSAT score. I've decided not to retake, but wanted to wish you good luck. No matter what you get, your soft factors are incredible - do not underestimate the strength of your overall application!
Yeah, I'm boldly applying to a few dream schools. I do like my safeties, though, so I won't be distraught when the T20s snub me.
hey..just saying hi and wishing you the best of luck this cycle..you will do great!
Congrats on your 8 POINT JUMP! I'm excited to see how the cycle turns out to you. If I'm lucky, we'll get into some of the same schools ;-)
I'll be watching your cycle...
Great news are on the way for you. Good luck with the cycle and Happy Holiday
Thanks for your encouragement and a big congrats on your new...and improved...LSAT score. Your score and GPA are solid...you'll be competitive in the t20 and t14 for sure. Happy Holidays!
...for the best wishes. If Michigan is really ur 1st choice I'd say ur in! U have a great GPA and that 162 is solid. Good luck to u as well. I'll be watching ur cycle...
nice work on the retake... best of luck
You're good. From what I can tell your 154 gets thrown out. It all comes down to how your perceived from your application. I quoted Frank Lucas in mine.

You are going to rock ths cycle. :)
Yeah, I definitely plan on doing that. Best of luck to you on your cycle and I'd love to know which Jay-Z quote you went with
I'm very excited about UVA, it's one of my top choices. Best of luck w/ your schools....and dealing w/ your registrar....that sucks that they haven't sent your transcripts out yet.
for the kind words. My last two acceptances have me feeling much better after a stretch of unfavorable decisions.
...on GWU! That is so awesome! I am in agreement with you on the PATS! Being a die hard Pats fan and seeing that debachaury of a game frustrated the hell out of me last night! I hope you see many more acceptances roll your way as I am sure you will! WHAT A GREAT WAY TO START OFF THOUGH!!!!
Thanks, man! Good luck. Here's hoping we both have the ability to be classmates at UMich together.
Hey Thanks! Congrats on GW! DC is a great place to study law..
I am still in shock over my acceptances! It only confirms my belief that one should not be afraid to shoot for the stars in the admissions process. Good job on GW! And good luck with the rest of ur cycle.
Hey, some overlap in schools and our numbers are close. I'm pending at some of the same places... Congrats on GW!
I am not really hooked on the idea of living in NYC, and DC seems like it'd be more my kind of place, so I am leaning toward GW at the moment. They both have exciting programs, though, so it's not an easy choice!
Best of luck to you too! My goodness, I'm so ready for all of this waiting to be over... Hope that you receive lots of good news in the coming weeks!
Congrats on your acceptance...! Yeah, WSU can be very tempting. Nevertheless, due to the fact that I plan to work while going to school; thus IndyLaw offers me the best opportunity. My plan is to have a solo practice in my community; you could understand why I am taking it easy. Good luck, and do keep in touch.
I sent you an invitation to connect through Linked in.
On Georgetown!
Hey Congrats on Georgetown..is their business school any good? Enjoy the celebration..
Thanks for the condolences. Not surprised about UMich. Congrats on GTown! That's just a taste of things to come. Good luck, man.
There's a few I'm really considering but I'm waiting on scholarships and visits to decide for sure.
I dont know, I was thinkin of goin this week, but that didnt really work out. I have 3 day weekends tho so it souldnt be too hard to get out there. I am leaning toawrd international law butnot for sure yet, how bout u?
Thanks man. Im sure youll be hearing similar news soon.
Hey Man, how are you doing? I visited NU a few weeks ago and loved it! Sorry to hear about Duke.
Thanks so much for your kind words! God has really blessed me over the past few weeks, and it looks like you've been blessed as well! Congrats on all of your acceptances! I'm sure you'll be blessed with many more. Do you have any school that you're leaning towards right now?
Hey..here's to riding out the Boalt waitlist together. Boalt was actually my dream school for awhile! Ugh! I know another t14 will come through for you..gotta keep the faith. I am pulling for you.
I see that you visited GULC. I don't have a chance to go to DC before the deposit deadline. Do you mind sharing a few impressions of the school/environs? Thanks!
There is only one way to describe Boston and that is AWESOME! I had an amazing time at BC! There are so many things to do and so many great places to go in Boston and the surrounding areas, it is unbelievable. Chestnut Hill is a GORGEOUS town just outside of Boston and serviced by the "T" or trolly/subway. The law school is on the Newton Campus which is about 1.5 miles further into Chestnut HIll than BC main. I wouldn't heasitate to go there - the only reasons why I did not apply are: a) I don't think I would have gotten in b) too expensive c) wanted to experience somewhere different Good luck with your decision and know that BC comes HIGHLY recommended! Drew
I'm leaning toward Maryland. I don't consider Baltimore to be in the D.C. area, but it's damn close. If you're ever in the D.C. area to check out GULC, get in touch with me. I love commiserating about he admissions process over alcohol!
What if we get to UVA and they say they only need one athlete - the stronger, faster, better-looking of us? Why, your heart would break! Kidding, of course. I'm sure you're faster.
I'm still not completely sure. I visited Harvard this weekend and really liked it, but I'm still trying to convince myself I could survive winter in Boston. I'm also planning on visiting UVA before I make a decision. Good luck at Georgetown! :)
It's looking like Northwestern. I liked GULC a little bit more, but their scholarship offer was a.) binding and b.) not enough money so I couldn't pass up the chance of getting off a WL at some of the places I expect on being WLed. What about you? Are you certain about GULC?
I've already sent them my deposit. Hopefully its not unbearably cold there, but its still worth it for that JD! Congrats on GULC scholarship and good luck there this fall!!!
I like your two new black men in power comment...LOL. Good luck at Gtown, or whatever other school you decide on.
Depends. My SO is starting B-School in NYC this fall. I'll try the long distance thing to see how it works, but two years in Ann Arbor shouldn't be that bad, and I'll just do the third year as a visiting student. Good luck with the rest of your cycle.
Thanks for the Congrats! It is so weird how this cycle turned out! Yay for GU! It's such a great school and having lived in the DC area for most of my life, I can honestly say it's a great place to study law! Yes, I will most likely be spending summers in DC! You must add me as a friend on facebook. I am all about supporting other folks on color during their law school journey!

Cornell def changes my mind. Originally I was set to go to GW but now I am seriously considering Cornell. I'm trying to visit at the end of the month and waiting on fin aid. Cornell is def a great school but I haven't made my mind up 100% yet.
That is an impressive scholly, Im sure you will excel during your time there!!!
Great cycle! "Looks like DC will have two new black men in power this fall ;)." I love it : ) Thanks for your kind words and best of luck at GULC!
On UCLA!
congrats on gulc!! that's awesome, especially the scholarship they're offering you. will you be going there? penn and chicago are awesome schools too, though the 75% tuition scholarship would be so great, and it'll be hard for penn/chicago to match that off the waitlist. now if only gulc would let me in too! ^_^ congrats again!
I am in D.C. right now. There's no "if I ever come to D.C." about the situation. The District is home. And it's your home now too. Welcome!
On Chicago!
So, how is this playing out? Are you going to be able to get out of the GULC agreement? Good luck.
That sucks, man! Well, GL @ GULC and GL with transferring.
Were you able to get out of GULC?
I've been looking for other athlete applicants. You've got way more than athletics to back up your app - good luck this cycle!
