3/4/2008 - rejected at stanford, *finally*.

haven't updated in a while, and now that my cycle's pretty much over (h/y/s aren't too likely, and i don't want to go there anyway), i'm going to start clearing all this out soon. hope it was helpful, and good luck to everyone else.

1/23/2008 - in at michigan by snail mail, plus chicago came yesterday by phone call. yay!

1/16/2008 - in at penn via phone call.

1/7/2008 - finally got around to sending in the yale app. not that i'm going to get in there, but it's nice to finally be done.

12/18/2007 - in at nyu! snail mail, and i never went complete. considering this was tied with columbia for my first choice, the stressful part of the cycle is *over*.

12/12/2007 - in at cornell today. by snail mail, *not* by email, which is how everyone else seems to have heard. big envelope, and included a letter saying my application was being considered for a dean's scholarship - $35k/year, and involves writing another essay. so that's pretty nice.

12/3/2007 - in at fordham today (by email), and georgetown last week (by snail mail, in a *small* envelope). harvard went in today, and i'm hoping to get yale, berkeley, and stanford out by the end of this week at the latest. no word yet from columbia/nyu, my top choices, but hopefully soon.

11/15/2007 - in at william & mary, with some cash. waiver of out-of-state tuition surcharge (about $10k), plus another $9k or so in stipends and scholarhsips. this after the email they sent me emphasizing that they weren't a rolling admission school, and i shouldn't expect to hear until april. i'm still not interested in going there, but it's still nice.

11/2/2007 - in at duke!

10/31/2007 - things are rolling, finally. still waiting to go complete at duke, but i'm about halfway done with the overall process. now it's time to get into the schools i really care about and the schools with supplemental essays.

10/21/2007 - third and final letter of recommendation is at LSAC waiting to be processed, and so it's time to start getting applications together. duke (priority track) went in today, so hopefully i'll start hearing back soon. "received", by the way, is the date that the school requested my lsdas report.

9/27/2007 - second letter of recommendation in and processed. i feel like i need to post whatever news i have, no matter how insignificant.

9/18/2007 - first letter of recommendation received. finally, we've got some progress.
