Thanks!! Yeah, I'll probably withdraw from at least some of them after break. I might wait on a couple to see about scholarship money though. I'm 99% sure about Harvard, but not 100% certain.

Yeah...I visited there last week, and it's absolutely gorgeous. I'd probably be willing to compromise most of my morals to get in. You should probably be at Yale though, you deserve it!

In your extracurricular info, where it says "Lots of work experience (some legal), it sounds like your other work experience is under-the-table, illegal stuff. Were you a bookie, perhaps? Some type of low-level mobster?

...I agree with Alex, if you had mob experience, you'd be in everywhere for sure. :P

I would say UVa right now but it depends on $$$ and how my visits go since the only law school I've seen is UVa's.

That's so funny - I hadn't noticed we got it on the same day, but totally not surprised. I told him to call whenever (which is basically true - my plate is pretty empty/mobile at work this week)...I tried to think of a couple questions to ask, and I made sure to print a copy of my app to have in front of me, in case he asks anything about specific things. Best of luck - I'm sure you'll do great; please keep me updated!

Yeah, Duke told me I was one of four applicants that their people had accidentally keyed in as regular decision instead of priority track. Hoyle was looking over the applications at the time I called, so I felt a little sheepish.

I'm sure it went great! I still haven't had mine yet...but hopefully soon? My roommate just had hers, as well, and he called as she was just getting on a bus/listening to the safety talk over the loudspeaker - eek! Other than that, she said it went fine, though. Best of luck waiting for #2!

It takes a lot of the pressure off to have some great acceptances so early, but I'm def looking forward to (and hoping for) that Harvard call too ;)

Congrats to you too. Yale and Stanford are so unpredictable. I decided to waste my application fee on only one of them, and I really liked Stanford when I visited over the summer. I'll definitely be attending the ASW. I hope we get our packets soon. Enjoy the Holidays.

Congrats on the acceptances-your stats are ridiculous. Don't take Turow's Book too seriously-I read it and he seems pretty dramatic...and I believe he went to school in the 70's. Congrats again-Have you made a decision yet?

I was looking at your info section and noticed you decided not to apply to Yale because you thought it would be a waste of money. I decided not to apply to Yale either, for the same reason, but now I'm wondering if that's really true. I mean, if we don't have a shot at getting into Yale, who does? So what's your first choice? Is it Harvard?

My first choice is either Harvard or Stanford. Congrats on getting into your first choice!

you heard from chicago today too? Congrats!! Although it is a little weird, knowing that you already have a Harvard offer on the table. Anyway, I'm going to the ASW in March and will try to check out all the public interest stuff on campus. You know when you're going?

To be honest, I am not sure yet. I am pretty sure I'll be at one of HYS, but a full scholarship somewhere else could lure me away. I don't have a lot of faith that I'll get into either of YS though, so I try not to think about those two that much.
