as a fellow post-tobycall but pre-tobydecision person, just saying hello and good luck as well as congrats for your acceptances so far (i still haven't heard back from *anyone* yet so am driving myself even more neurotic than i usually am on LSD as you can probably tell :-) ) out of curiosity, what makes you such a big softie? besides the true and gentle kindness of your soul...

Hey, This website is great. Frankly, I don't really know where I want to go. I have some friends at HLS who are not particularly happy there. But some may say that you should sacrifice happiness for a JD from H. Others have advised NYU, because it will be better socially (I am from NYU)...any and all thoughts are welcome.
I'm sure you'll do well with the pending's, but good luck anyway! And if you decide on CLS, I'll see you in the fall!

With NYU, Columbia, Gtown, UVA & UCLA under your belt...(super congrats by the way!!! :) ) have you considered w/d from SC? They are my #1 choice :) Good luck!!!!!

I will be headed up to the NYU/Columbia March admit days as well. Hopefully I'll see you there!
Flip a coin...You'll come out with an incredible job after your three years regardless. Columbia is ranked higher by one and is an Ivy League. Columbia is located in uptown Manhattan. Uptown isn't as "trendy" and nightlif-ee. NYU is downtown Manhattan. It's in the "village." Very trendy, tons of bars, variety of people all over the place. Very cool place to live. But, again, Columbia's got one on NYU in the rankings. Columbia i hear is also more cut throat than NYU. I have heard that their students tend to be more pretentious and competitive than those in NYU. It's what I've heard. I'm sure there are exceptions. I hope i eventually end up in the same position you're in. Goodluck.
