Memphis is a nice place to live. I also have family there. My close friends are moving back to the area. They have been gone for almost 20 years because they are a military family. Best wishes with Memphis!!

I called today and was told by May 1st. Last month I was told by April 1st.... So who knows, it is really frustrating.

The dean sent notification of my acceptance through e-mail

I just went to Tigerweb and it had me in the system. I got an email from Dean Smoot later that day. My roommate is still waiting to hear back from Memphis also so you should hear something soon. Good luck!

I havent yet heard anything from Memphis. I heard that they may not be done with decisions until May. A lot of people on law school discussion have finally been seeing decisions made from them, so hopefully we will all hear from them sooner than May. Its one of my top choices. what about you? good luck

hey, thats great you got loyola. I got it to, but I have yet to decide about it. Are you going to any of their open houses?

I'd go to Memphis -- it has a great reputation. Loyola's bar passage rate has dropped significantly the last few years. Local alumni don't speak favorably of the Loyola experience.

Did they offer any money? They are really freehearted with money. I don't think they got any damage from the Hurricane Katrina.

Hey, I'll be at the open house on the 21st. Are you going to go? I'm really excited about Loyola and from I've heard they have an excellent reputation. I sent mine in a long time ago when I got the letter, but if I remember right it was April 17th or two weeks after you got accepted whichever was later. Could be wrong though.

Any word yet?? I cant believe they are waitlisting people in May!

I called yesterday and apparently they made "most of their decisions" yesterday and they went out...not real comforting they made them all in one day but oh well.

i just found out about memphis waitlist from their online status checker. I have yet to recieve a letter from them. I am going to stay on the waitlist for a while at least though.. what about you?

Believe me, if I get off the waitlist at Samford you'll most likely get my wd. Right now I have to keep it around to figure out the $$$ issue Memphis and Mercer if it comes to that.

I haven't ever seen the school so I'm going to look at it over the Memorial Day weekend. Right now it is merely a decision between grad school or law school, but I'm leaning toward law school.

Just thought I'd let u know that the enrollment forms for Memphis are all due today (the 12th) so you should be off the waitlist really soon! Btw-just wondering why you didn't apply to Ole Miss?? I thought about them but don't know too much about that area or school...
