not sure what the story is with GW, got a letter which informed me i was waitlisted and then received a call from a student there who wanted to know if i had any questions, as if i was accepted. it doesn't matter either way, but it still seems odd.

Good luck at with all your schools! How did you get a fee waiver from UT, they just sent it to you? We have the same LSAT, but your GPA kicks mine in the butt. I want a fee waiver, too!

Thanks

Thanks for the advice. I'm still undecided about whether or not I'll even retake. I'm taking my first practice test since Sept. 30th tomorrow. I'll gauge my performance and make a decision very soon.

soft factors

soft factors - let's see, worked at a restaurant 3 undergrad years, pretty typical ECs, i was a TA, and i had 3 really great letters of recs from my professors that i am close with and i wrote a socio-economic and diversity statement.

hey hey

congrats on Penn. Are you leaning toward anywhere in particular?

oh man
Sunday, December 11 2005 at 07:00 PM

I bet the 171 gets you into at least one of the HYS bunch. I am definitely leaning toward Penn. I visited it this summer and absolutely loved it. It is so gorgeous and the people are very nice. Philadelphia is a neat city, too.

After having been rejected by Georgetown with a 3.68/171 just minutes ago, your profile brings me great comfort. I'll review it daily.

Did you really get into Harvard? That's amazing. Congratulations! And omg, I'm totally jealous of your shiny new LSAT score!!

171, 3.99
Wednesday, October 11 2006 at 08:00 PM

Not hard to believe at all with those numbers! But plenty of people get turned down with the same numbers or higher LSAT. Which means they thought you were uber-cool to boot!! :D

Congratulations! You have been rocking this cycle! I'm just dropping you a line to let you know you predicted my first acceptance (American!) and so thank you :) :)

Tuesday, January 02 2007 at 07:00 PM

you did your thing this cycle. Gerogetowm should feel stupid now! So is it gonna be H or Y?

thanks
Tuesday, January 02 2007 at 07:00 PM

Thanks. I am very happy and suprised with how this cycle is going. Right now I'm really leaning towards CLS, but I have to go to the ASWs before I can make any decision. I'm not sure what I will do after law school yet. I'm considering international law or entertainment. And you?
