Does anyone have any opinions on McGeorge v. USF? Anything would be appreciated.

Really screwed up on the LSATs. My practice tests were 160-165, but panicked on the day of the test. Even a 160 would've looked so much better than a 158. :-/

I know most of my schools are reach schools, but I'm a dreamer. Who knows, maybe the admissions officer will be super drunk and accidentally toss my application into the "Accept" instead of the "Reject" bin. I think that's how I got into my undergrad college in the first place.

Loyola (4/7) - Was initially expecting them to reject me outright. No chance in hell I'll get off the waitlist so putting my deposit in for McGeorge today.

Golden Gate (4/4) - Tempting w/half of my tuition paid for contingent upon a 3.00 and 2.5 gpa; however, it is Golden Gate. :-/ So, it looks like McGeorge and USF, although McGeorge is offering a lot more.

USF (3/24) - After having my application placed on hold for more than a month, I'm in! Now debating between USF and McGeorge. :-/

American (3/10) - Was expecting to be rejected outright, so kind of surprised, but a nice surprised. Most likely would end up choosing McGeorge over American b/c even if I could get in, it'd probably be late in the year and no way I can just pack my bags and leave in addition to the fact that McGeorge would just be cheaper.

Boalt (3/9) - Surprise, surprise! To be expected, but I had to give it a shot. I know my numbers are a laugh there, but what the hell? Never thought I had a chance at the undergrad either, but I got in there somehow. :)

Davis (3/2) - Damn. I don't like cows, but it was a good school. Stupid status checker, the ONE DAY they don't update would be the one day when my status changed.

Temple (3/1) - Applied b/c of the fee waiver, so it's not too bad. If I want to be placed on the waitlist, I need to send back the enclosed form, but I think I'll think about it for a week and probably withdraw. I'd like to practice in the Bay Area and UOP is obviously a lot closer, although behind in the rankings. Interesting that it took the decision 2 weeks to reach me. - have withdrawn

GW (2/1) - To be expected, but at least their rejection letter was nice.

UOP (12/14) - Offered Public Service Scholarship, renewable $10,000/year and 1st year's books, offered reimbursable trip to McGeorge for Legal Scholar's Day.

I was practice testing at 160-165 too and also messed up, so I feel your pain. Congrats on the acceptance.

temple reject golden gate accept with money Hastings reject Loyola reject San Franciso accept American reject Pacific with books scholarship GW reject The only reason i think i might have got into San Diego is PT. I'm sure you're more qualified than I. San Diego waitlist
