Wow, you weren't kidding when you said we had virtually identical numbers! It's interesting that with our numbers, we both applied to UCI. I think our LSAT's are somewhere in the 25th%. It's probably my biggest reach, but I just had to. Good luck - I'll be keeping an eye on where you get in!
I'd like to stay in-state, mainly because I think it'd be easier to network. But, I'll pretty much go wherever financial aid takes me : ) How about you?
I have also applied to the part time program at Marquette! Hopefully we will hear soon!
On DePaul! I think Connecticut is my first choice, followed by Northeastern and perhaps St. John's. What's yours?

I am too. It seems as though everyone on LSN that went complete around the same time as us have already heard, good or bad.. so I dont know what to think at this point..maybe applying to the part time program has something to do with it?

Congrats! I noticed you got in earlier on TLS--so happy for you! The more I've learned about the school the more it's climbing up my list! Also, I work with an attorney here in Boston who went there-when he heard I applied he started telling me all about the school and area-nothing but good things-and told me he'd put in a good word for me. So I'm crossing my fingers. Wish I would have applied earlier. Maybe I'll see you in sunny Cali in the fall!

Congratulations! I saw you got into your "secret" top choice school. That's wonderful! I'm sure you will be attending there unless there is another choice that accepts you. I wish you the very best. Looking forward to hearing more good things for you! Best of luck.
The Emery Merit is renewable, but only if you place in the top 15-20% of the class. Don't think I need that added pressure to do well! Congrats and best of luck.

Just read your blog on calling schools. I feel your malaise... I called one of my top choices today after rehearsing how to politely ask WTF they have been doing with my application for 5 months??? I don't know what I expected, but I got what I deserved - the admissions secretary telling me to just keep checking my status checker... Thanks. That went well.

that's awesome! i almost applied to SMU, but i got into some more "southeastern" schools quickly and didn't need to. i might skip the bar movie for now. I don't need anything else to scare me ab law school quite yet! haha i'll have to read about the visit! i'm agonizing over UGA vs. Alabama right now (and waiting on Vandy. geeeez)
Congrats on your decision! The ASD really solidified it for me also. I think it was the combination of the contracts class and Hamburger Man that did me in. Although I must say it was intimidating being a minority in the sorta Aryan Nation setting.
Perhaps, there is a 50% chance it was me. There were only two Asian people. There is also a 50% chance we will be in the same group of 90 1Ls. And there is a 100% chance I will attend a pub crawl.
Yeah, I think STCL is probably where I will end up. I'm from Houston, and live here now, so the commute wouldn't be too bad. I see that you will be attending SMU in the fall. You are incredibly lucky as that is a phenomenal school and places well throughout the state. Great job :)
Looks like I'm going to be at Suffolk this fall - just haven't put the little "A" up yet. Congrats on SMU! I guess Santa Clara did quite work out for either of us. You should have applied to some Boston schools!

hey! just wanted to let you know...i think i'm headed to Austin (as long as I don't hate it when I visit). Not really logical from a financial standpoint, but sometimes you have to jump off a ledge, right? Woohoo for the state of Texas!
