actually, I just reread your post, mines never said anything about being reviewed by comittee. It went from In progress to complete ready to review. hope that helps
My status has said "complete, ready for review" for about the last 3 years now... Ha ha actually about 3 months but it really feels like years. I certainly wish they would tell me something so I can start planning where I am going! Let me know if you hear anything! Good luck!
I don't really know, actually. I didn't use the status checker. The last time I looked it said "complete, ready for review" so long that I didn't look anymore. Then, one day I just had an acceptance waiting in the mail.
it says complete ready for review. i'm visiting the school tomorrow so i'm going to see if i can get some info about it. they're really taking their time on making decisions! good luck to you!

Thanks! My status checker changed to "in review" on the date on the acceptance letter. My status checker actually still says "in review." I didn't get a chance to really talk to them at the forum because the line was so long (probably bc the forum was in atlanta). Hope that helps, best of luck!
Hi I had a 159 on the LSAT and a 3.66 in Mechanical Engineering. My Index number on my LSDAS Report was an 82. I just checked my status online and it still says complete and ready for review. My status changed from in progress to complete and ready for review on the 1st of February. I got a letter in the mail telling me I was complete on the 30th of January. Hope that answered everything and good luck!
didn't get any answer about the status of my application. if i don't hear anything in a month i'm going to press them for a decision cause i have seat deposits due at the beginning of april and obviously i'm only trying to put down one. i'll keep you posted! let me know if you hear anything!
I was "complete ready for review" for a while. I think they're just so swamped with apps that they just don't bother to change the status. I haven't checked my status since my acceptance but, it was the same up until I got the envelope in the mail.
I was in the same boat. I had gotten into Mercer before GSU. I drove down there one weekend to see how the drive was. It was 1 hour 15. no traffic though. Its really not that bad of a drive. If worse comes to worse, you go down there and kick butt for a year and then transfer to GSU. A year isn't too bad. But you'll probably get into GSU so don't sweat it!
is it really due that soon (mercer)? Check your letter again and make sure, I thought it was April. I don't have my letter here (im at work).
Just wanted to let you know that my status checker didn't change from "Complete ready for review", and I was accepted today. So don't stress out over the status checker and good luck!
hey, i got accepted to gsu today... sort of. turns out i got accepted feb 6, but it was sent to my old address. good luck with you acceptance! i'm sure it's on it's way... let me know! maybe i'll see you in the fall!

My GSU status checker never changed from "Complete ready for review" and I got accepted 2 days ago...it still hasn't changed. In any case, I'll keep my fingers crossed for ya :)
The UGA online status checker told me I was waitlisted about a month ago. Upon reading that, I called UGA and they said there are two waitlists and I was on the initial one. Currently, the online status reads that my application is under review again. My GSU checker says the same thing in review by committee. GSU is usually late about responding, my admitted friends who go there now got their answers in May! Good Luck! And remember sometimes no news is good news =)

hello, I received my rejection via mail in a small envelope. the status checker is still "in review by committee." they are slow at updated that thing, my application was complete for almost a month before they changed it. I had called them to see what was going on and apparently they dont update it that often/daily. good luck with your cycle

I am sorry to see you got bad news from GSU also. No worries, you still have UGA which is a great school and I have heard great things about Mercer and their placement in Atlanta!
I saw a post that you made on hmiller's wall about where Asian fits into the URM discussion. I'm sorry to say that it is actually an ORM (over represented minority) in law school applications. It's completely arbitrary and unfair, but that may have played a significant role in your cycle. Sorry about GSU. Keep your head up though, Mercer is still a damn fine school.
They notified me about the wait list about a week and a half ago. They said they would be making decisions until August 11.
looks like we'll be applying to similar schools.
