I will tell you that Washburn Law is an extremely well respected school in Kansas. I would love to know your story, to hear about your background. I sent my app to them in September and have yet to hear from them. You still have lots of schools to hear from yet. I definitely see more acceptances coming your way!

Hello fellow waitlister! I was wondering if you are going to send a LOCI to UST. I was told they would be sending status updates in April, but do you think it is too early to send a LOCI? I really want to visit but the flights are so expensive!

Thanks for the advice. I am thinking the beginning of March I will send them a letter. The more I read about Minneapolis the more I want to go there. It seems that the schools around there place pretty well too. What is your first choice?

I see you're waiting for schools that are closer to home. What state do you live in? Looks like you also have a lot of schools to hear from yet. What is your # 1 choice?

Did you ever call any of the schools to ask about your application status? I have heard from 2 of my schools and am waiting on Washburn. Is it annoying to them to call and check, or do they expect that students will do that?

When will we hear from Utah? Have you heard anything from them? To be honest, the admission office did not send me anything about being complete. I feel like I sent my application to the big, dark abyss.

Well, heard from Washburn. Got WL. Thought I could have gotten in easy with my #s. Apparently not. Do you have any Extracurriculars? I don't have any, really, and perhaps look down on that.

Well, thank you. I hope one of them (UMKC/Wash) will come through for me. I guess I'm going to apply for a full tuition scholarship at OCU and see if I can't get that. If I can go to law school for free I'm thinking I'd pretty much jump on that opportuinty, even tho OCU isn't as good of a school. Where do you live?

Hey there, thanks for the warm wishes. Like I said, it is a great school, great reputation, and I have no regrets but do see this as an opportunity to get out of Kansas! I see you have heard from quite a few schools, that's good. Best of luck to you too!

What are your thoughts on the cycle? Are you going to visit Washburn? I see you declined from the other schools that you were accepted to. That is awesome that Washburn is giving you a scholarship! Are there any other schools that you are considering if they accept you? Best of luck!

Hello, my monmscot22 acct wont let me log in so I had to create a new one. I have Washburn in my top 3 schools I would like to attend. Did you end up visiting the school yet? If so, how was your experience? Are you def. going to attend Washburn? Creighton is looking pretty good, and if I get into Hamline or Cleveland Marshall, it will be a tough decision.

Do you think that we have a chance at Tennessee? I am shocked that they are taking so long to make a decision.

I have just applied to HOWARD! 145 & 2.84... WOW I have been out of school for 12 years. Apply to Southern University and Texas Southern & Florida A&M University. All are some of the most diverse Law Schools on the nation. The University of the Distict of Colombia as well. Good Luck

I just got a call saying I was accepted into Hamline through their Founders Enrollment program!! I am soo excited! Just wanted to share the news!

Hey there. It sounds like you are leaning more towards Washburn. Were you able to call and have them answer the question about transferring after first year? I am planning on visiting Hamline on April 17th for admitted students day. How about you, are you going to visit the school? Were you offered a scholarship?

Hey there, congrats on making your decision. Washburn is a great school, so that is a good decision and who can say no to a scholarship? I do have a question for you... you said you were going to call Hamline and ask if you were able to transfer after the first year. Did you call them, and if so, what did they say? I was thinking that they probably would let students transfer, as long as they were part time. And does that mean that I would graduate later? I e-mailed the school with some other questions today but forgot to ask them that.
