Definitely already ready for this process to be over. Hopefully everything will go well. I wish everyone well with all their applications.
**************************
I got way too many fee waivers to name...but I barely used any of them. $12 for law school reports adds up even if the application is free.
All waivers here are merit based. Michigan and Cornell sent by mail. Campbell by e-mail. George Mason and Washington and Lee were hidden on LSAC. I never received anything from either school. EDIT: I did finally get a package from W&L right before Thanksgiving.
***************************
11/14/06- I got my first acceptance today and I am so excited!!!
Just received fee waivers from WUSTL and Emory over Thanksgiving and decided to send those out last minute.
12/21/06- Just got an acceptance letter from Washington and Lee. I'm really suprised because it was a very quick turn around. Still anxious to hear from some more schools though.
1/1/07- I was out of town for Chrismas break and came home to an acceptance from Howard along with a $20,000/yr merit based scholarship. Down side, I have to maintain a certain GPA to keep it. But it's a great option because it is basically full tuition (tuition this year is $19,800)
1/5/07- Phone call to Cornell verifying I was complete. Not sure exactly when I went complete though. They mistyped my e-mail address and were not able to get in contact with me. I hope I went complete before Christmas.
1/10/07- Status checker changed to decision at Michigan.
1/13/07- Received $15,000/yr renewable Honor Scholarship from W&L. I have to maintain a 3.0 GPA to keep it. The scholarship would probably knock out only about half of my tuition but it's another great option...especially considering it's a top 25 law school.
..................................................
On a side note I have learned that sending out apps early in the application cycle in no way means that you will be hearing back anytime soon from any school. Waiting sucks...especially when it's creeping up on 15 weeks (thanks UVA...I hope they didn't forget that I applied).
..................................................
1/16/07-Received acceptance letter today from Emory.
1/19/07-Rejection letter from Michigan.
********************************
Well it has been 10+ weeks of waiting at every school I have applied to (with the exception of UNC, WUSTL, and Cornell) and I must say that I really am just beyond over this whole process. Considering the fact that I sent my apps off very early in the process, the fact that I still have 8 pending apps is driving me insane. I really would just rather know at this point so I can stop being so obsessed with my mail and e-mail. But unfortunately, I think I'm in this one for the long haul. (No news is GOOD news though).
********************************
2/3/07- Acceptance letter from Carolina
2/9/07- Wailisted at Duke via e-mail
Still haven't heard anything from UVA and it's making me nervous...it's been almost 5 months.
2/14/07-Scholarship amount listed for Campbell is an estimate...received a full tuition scholarship.
2/20/07-Accepted at WVU via phone call.
2/28/07- Looks like I'm going into March still waiting on 6 decisions. I'm so frustrated and disheartened with this whole process right now.
3/1/07- Status checker finally updated to decision mailed at UVA. I really have no idea what to expect. Whatever the decision I'm just happy that the long wait is finally over for me.
3/1/07- Received a letter today from UVA placing me on the general waitlist.
3/11/07- I was out of town and came home to a rejection from GWU and a waitlist from GMU.
And I visited Howard this weekend...not really impressed. I'm so lost as to what to do right now.
3/12/07-Seriously considering taking a year off and trying again next year. I think the fact that I was only 20 when I applied or my lack of post u-grad work experience or that I went to a crappy u-grad may have contributed to some of my decisions. The idea of doing this all over again (especially studying for the LSAT) makes me so depressed though. I don't know what to do.
3/13/07- So my boyfriend and I had a bet about how many schools I would get into. He said 11, I said 9. Clearly we were both wrong (but I still won). LOL. I'm prob not gonna make him pay on the bet though cuz I'm sure I have driven him near insanity during this whole process.
Now the issue is deciding where to go with so little time to make a decision. I wonder if schools ever give extensions on seat deposits???
3/14/07-Got a letter today from Howard stating that in order for me to keep my scholarship I would have to stay in the top 5% of my class. Needless to say I am hardly considering taking it anymore. I really think I'm just going to try again next cycle. None of the schools I have been accpeted are really for me.
Note: For some reason everyone now thinks I'm worried about my age. I'm not in the least and actually really excited to have been given such an opportunity this early in my life. I'm actually not worried about anything, just deciding what I'm going to do next year and really excited that I have the opportunity to be in control of what I do. You guys give me advice like I'm in need of some serious counseling...LOL. But thanks for all the input. Right now I'm just making a personal decision based on no one or nothing else but me.
3/19/07-Received phone call from GMU congratulating me on my acceptance. Wonder why they wailisted me just a week ago. Anywho I guess they never got my withdrawal. I think I'll consider them.
3/20/07-Well I think I am going to pay my deposit at W&L. I already started prepping for the LSAT and plan to re-take in June. I've been very happy with the PT scores I've been getting so hopefully I'll be re-applying next cycle. If for some strange reason I bomb the test, I'm thinking I'll be at W&L (but I'm not going to bomb...prayerfully). Just trying to keep all my options open.
Received an e-mail today from Emory offering me a $54,000 scholarship.
3/23/07-Went to decision at Cornell
3/24/07-Received a letter from Cornell placing me on reserve.
3/30/07-Well I'm probably not going to pay the seat deposit at W&L next week. If I pay one anywhere, it will be Emory even though I'm not that fond of ATL. But I've already basically decided that I'll probably be taking this year off pending the June LSAT. It's such a relief to have made a decision. Good luck to everybody...and stay posted for any new updates.
Received an e-mail from WUSTL placing me on the waitlist and also stating that they accepted too many people this cycle and don't plan on taking any people off the waitlist this year...I honestly don't care.
4/3/07-Received an e-mail from UNC awarding $3,000/academic year. Even though I do get in-state tuition, I am not feeling this offer and will be withdrawing in the very near future.
4/4/07-Patiently waiting on my Penn rejection (even though they said I would have it by April 1) so that I can focus on re-marketing myself for next year's cycle (and graduating!!!!)
4/11/07- Finally got my rejection letter from Penn...it sure took long enough. Now I can finally say my cycle is over...thank God. I don't really care about waitlists. What a relief!!!!
4/12/07- Decided to drop my deposit at Emory tomorrow as opposed to UNC. $250 is a lot of money for me. Oh well. And I'm really anxious to get the June LSAT over with.
I'm trying to find something REALLY exciting to do in my year off. If anybody has any suggestions I'm def open. I need some ideas (especially since it's so late).
from UVA was merit-based, the one from Harvard was through LSDAS b/c I'm broke : ) Good luck with all your apps as well. What's your top choice?
- fiyahsignThanks for the info about Penn! It's great to see another blk female out here trying to do this law thing. What's your top choices? (btw, how did Duke let you know you were complete?)
- kiki123Any Tips?!!!
- fuzzybuzzy69I received an email notifying me that my file was complete and ready for review. Good luck this cycle.
- YYYYThanks for the encouragement. I hope you get into your top choice too. I'm sure we'll do fine, but I 100% with you on wanting this entire process to be over with already.
- tlAww thank you. Girl I wish I had that 175 as well...my stats are borderline, but according to friends of mine at hls and yls who have been watching cycles for years, I will get into a good school, prolly a t14 (I PRAY!). We"ll see though. Honestly, I have a feeling that adcoms save a lot of URMs for the middle of the cycle. Hoping that's the case, I've been complete at GULC for almost a full month!
- kiki123Thanks for the encouragement, I hope you do well also. Do you mind me asking what your LSAT score is?
- yeoldesouthernerYou asked about my top choices-ideally, it would be the University of Minnesota, as far as ranking is concerned. However, I have a very successful full-time career, and don't want to give up my job, so the part-time programs at University of St. Thomas, William Mitchell and Hamline are ideal. Plus, better financial aid. My family is all over the country, that's why my law school choices are. Anyway, that's probably more than you wanted to know. Thanks for asking.
- cardinalfireWhat was your LSAT score?
- aspiringESQI'm sure you will have your pick of T14.
- Alexallurethanks for your nice note. I am soo wanting to get into HUSL. congrats to u on howard w/scholarship!! u must have awesome #'s
- lionheartYay, we are doing big things this cycle! Congrats on your acceptances. And girl, I feel you about waiting for dumb long for UVa (and it seems like loads others) to get back to us. Sigh.
- kiki123Thank you! I am so thankful! I can't wait to hear from more school... ... Congrats to you on your acceptances and scholarships!!
- mowillystyle*Schools
- mowillystyleI know W & L is higher in US news rankings... but which would you say is a better school? I feel like people have been more impressed/excited by my Emory acceptance?? ....I'm just trying to rank the schools as they come so i dont have a huge decision at the end
- mowillystyleIt's all good, they don't deserve us! :-) Congrats on your acceptances! I would love Emory to send me an acceptance...
- pr2005Sorry to hear about Michigan! But congrats on Emory. I wanted to apply there too, but I don't know why I didn't. It's a great school.
- tlyou are doing awesome so far!! dont worry about UM..you are yet to hear back from the other big ones.. and I am sure ATLEAST 1 of those will pick you. (Emory already has!) so re-word it.. atleast two i mean. :) That Howard offer is extremely compelling. What have you thought about it. It would be a tough decision between no debt JD and 100K JD from a tier 1. If I was put in that situation i am not sure what I would do.. (feel free to email offline)
- lionheartThanks! It's like they read my comment to you! :-) You going to the admitted students day?
- pr2005Deferral at Pennsylvania, and the money you are getting are solid indicators that you have a strong application. I think you'll get into t20 at least. You shouldn't worry so much! Good luck!
- holydevilI sent in my apps in November as well, but they didn't go complete until after my December Lsat... I check my email and mail about 90 times a day...when im not checking those, I'm on this site trying to figure out whose decision could possibly come tomorrow! Hang in there!!!! Atleast you got some great acceptances under your belt!:)
- mowillystyleThanks for the congrats! I think I'm starting to get over the waiting part now. If I look on the bright side, it'll make for a very interesting end of the cycle. I'll be getting decisions practically every week.
- tlThanks for the well wishes! It sucks to have to wait so long, but it'll all be over in a couple of months (barring having to wait it out on waitlists). Yes, I'm STILL waiting on Michigan. I don't know if that will ever get resolved. As far as your last question, I am really really really interested in Emory all of a sudden. It wasn't really on my radar at the beginning of the cycle, but I've been learning more and more about it and I'm really excited about getting accepted and possibly attending. I think it's probably the only school that I have a decent shot at and would love to attend. What's your top choice so far?
- tlNo clue! I am really waiting on so many schools! I'm just so stressed waiting. I want to hear from atleast one top top school ! I really have no idea what I'm going to do .
- mowillystyleare you leaning toward any school in particular?
- mowillystylehaven't heard a thing, actually, which is pretty weird...
- hes906I don't know what my chances are...I sure hope that they are good. Seems that we applied to many of the same schools, gl with the rest of the cycle!
- maybe2007Thank you so much for the encouragement! I really appreciate it. I wish you the same! This process is so stressful! I hope you end up at a top choice. Sorry to hear about Duke :( .. they don't know what they're missing out on but hey it isn't over yet!
- mowillystyleI've heard no news from UVA, and I've been complete for almost as long as you. I'm kinda bummed. I figure, after being held at Columbia and Harvard, I won't be hearing from anyone else (unless it's a ding) until the April at the earliest. :(
- DeldadNothing. I'm expecting a waitlist at this point.
- lovethebombI haven't heard anything either. I think we've been effectively deferred until they can see their entire applicant pool. Hopefully we'll both hear some good news soon. Good luck to you.
- jtsd19Thanks for the kind words. I'm looking on the bright side. Now I don't have to fill out all of those stupid financial aid forms that NU has. I just saw the Duke waitlist. Good luck with that! Everyone's saying that the top schools are going to be going to the waitlist a lot this year, so I think you got a good shot.
- tlI read what you said about UVA. I've been complete since November and still haven't heard anything from them either. I don't know what is taking so long and why they are so slow.
- tryin2makeit1I've never visited the law school campus, only the main campus. I have done a lot of research, though, so email me with any questions that you have and maybe i can answer. I'm going there for HUSL's reputation in Civil Rights. Its also a small class size which is nice...lots of things! Let me know what I can answer!
- caren40Thanks so much!:) good luck to you as well!
- mowillystylewith rest of your pending apps. I hope that you hear from UVa soon and that it's positive news! There are ppl on lsd who have been waiting 23+wks!!! So you are not alone. Also, I'm pretty sure Duke will go to its wl--they are going to get a lot of withdrawls due to the PT thing. They haven't even gotten back to me yet...so I feel you with the waiting. I just want this cycle to be over and figure out where I'll be in the fall.
- kiki123I am so nervous!! I'm scared to go to my mailbox today! My roommate just decided to go to med school there I am so hoping to get in! Good luck with all your remaining apps! =)
- mowillystyleThanks for the words of encouragment. I am so jealous! Congrats- you are awesome!
- jillibeanto you as well! You've got some pretty nice choices yourself ($$$ @ W&L, Emory, etc), and several decisions pending. Good luck with the rest of your cycle, and thanks again.
- DooderI haven't withdrawn from Georgetown yet. I'll probably end up not doing it. I just don't really like the whole concept of waitlists because you get your hopes up and it just drags this process out even more and I'm ready for it to be over with. I'll probably just stay on and treat it in my mind as a rejection. I still can't believe you haven't heard from UVA yet. I guess we can take that as a good sign. I still have a feeling that some good things are yet to come for us. Let's hope.
- tlThank you so much! man.. my hopes are way down though... I can't take this process anymore... and I'm basically waiting on all the top schools... 12 more to go ..... blaaah... But best of luck to you! I sincerely hope more great acceptances comes your way!
- mowillystyleI wish I could just pass it along. lol I'm sure I heard back quickly b/c I went there for UG. Believe me you can get more bang for your buck elsewhere!! Don't fret, I'm sure you have some more impressive acceptances right around the corner. I'll be rooting for you and checking back in. Best Wishes!!
- tac84gwI finally heard back from them! I got accepted!!! I'm sure you'll here back from them soon :)
- tryin2makeit1Yeah, it kinda depends on $$. I dont think Howard is gonna give me any and that would be a deciding factor considering I dont know if I can take another 3 years of DC. How about u?
- luckytogetacceptedYeah, Ill be in miami so ill miss the open house but I go here for undergrad now and to be quite honest Howard Law's campus was not impressive to me at all. The library was very nice but thats about it. I think i mightve had enough of the "black college experience" in undergrad however for those who werent as fortunate, I would highly recommend Howard for law school... And youre right, DC is ultra-expensive for no reason but the living expenses arent as bad when your not payin for school, lol.
- luckytogetacceptedW&L is on my short list of schools I am considering. I see you have some quality schools on your list. Which ones are you seriously considering at this point? Yea, I know W&L has the rep about minority numbers, but honestly, I pretty much dealt with that all growing up, so no biggie.
- WillHoo04I've heard some shady things about GW, but it is a good school. The visits are really going to clinch this one I think. You have some great options on the table
- WillHoo04Just through the grapevine...I've heard the full gambit from kids are nice to a good number of gunners and BIGLAW ambitions. I applied there originally as my top choice, but after hearing about the competitiveness, it has fell on my list. But hey, take what I've heard with a grain of salt
- WillHoo04You too...yeah waiting on responses sucks, but at least we both have a lot of good choices so far.
- maybe2007YES I'M STILL WAITING! I'm about to start going crazy again. Well, at least tomorrow will bring a new month and hopefully more news because February was horrible. I just really, really, want to hear from Emory now. I'm crossing my fingers. Good luck!
- tlI am seriously considering the school. I'm thinking of practicing in NC, so Campbell would be a good school for a person looking to stay local. I visited the school and liked the small school/town feel. Buies Creek might be a shock if you're used to a living in a city, but it is perfect for me and my family. I grew up in a town about the size of Buies Creek. The major worry I have is the future location of the school. In my interview, they mentioned the law school may be relocating to Raleigh, which would remove it from consideration for me. As for curriculum, trial advocacy seems to be their bread and butter.
- jsbowenI'm seriously crushed. I can't even think straight right now. I guess it just wasn't meant to be, but thanks for the kind words. I just hope this isn't a preview of what's to come. *sighs*
- tlsorry about the waitlist...are you going to stay on? good luck with your other pending apps.
- kiki123I'm visiting Emory this weekend- from research it's my first choice right now.... then after my visit I'm deciding if it's necessary to visit W&L. Also, waiting for financial aid to come in. blaaah this is so stressful.
- mowillystylesorry about the waitlist :( ... where are you leaning?
- mowillystyleI told you Howard laws campus wasnt that impressive. Have you totally decided against Howard now?
- luckytogetacceptedI feel you.. I like W&L and Emory but im not in love with the schools. I know if i take a year off I'm likely not to go back. So I'm just going to decide.. maybe tranfer.. and HOPEFULLY get off one of these millions of waitlists..... goodluck deciding to you! ... for UVA I'm on the priority out of state waiting list...
- mowillystyleI know how you feel. I really wanted T-14....I sort of only applied to the other schools to see if someone would give me full tuition. Emory and W&l seem like great options though.. and I've heard great things about UNC... I'm also considering Fordham... this is such a hard time. I def understand second thoughts! I hope we both find clarity!
- mowillystyleYou've gotten into some great schools, and even though the rejections are a shock to the system, don't let it make you doubt yourself. You're obviously an accomplished and intelligent woman to be going through all this at 20 - don't stop now! Check out LSD thread on continued letters of interest if you really want to get in GMU or your other WL/Def schools. Stay blessed!
- hopesndreamsWell, my top choice is my SUPER reach - Temple - but of the reach/target schools, Howard is #1. I visited when I was freshman in college and then again this past November. I have friends that attend now and I really would like to live and work in DC. I've always heard great things about the faculty and checked NALP for recruiting - looks promising, so hopefully my letter of interest to Dean McGahee helps me out. And you don't sound crazy LOL...I've been freaking out over financial aid on LSD for weeks now :)
- hopesndreamsNor do I pretend to be. I also do not know what you are trying to do or what your goal is. But I do know that you have been accepted to some very nice schools and waitlisted by some even nicer schools. I believe that you should at least send in a deposit and hold out for one of your T14 waitlist schools and after that time if you decide you would much rather take some time off and improve your candidacy with the hopes of immediate T14 or higher admission then do not attend a school in the fall. But I do not think that you should just give up on the entire process solely due to a few let downs. You seem like a very intelligent young lady and like someone said before at 20, you must have a good head on your shoulders. Maybe you could even travel the world a bit. I wished I would have done more of that in my time off, but I think you will be fine. I wish you the best and I hope that you do what is best for you this fall.
- Chibunduyeah it is indeed real as to much everyone's suprise on here and to anyone else (esp prof at my school). campbell hasnt even sent me fin aid award packet more over their minority is EXTREMELY low like only one black person graduated in 06 kinda low....as far as w*L i got offered 13 tho a year and they are supposed to be mailing me the fin aid award packet this week...as far as from the evironment and community of the schoool i would love that (based on website/brochure) but financially i wouuld think it would be harder on me b/c i cant rely on my parents b/c they are both on disablity and cant give me any money to support me not even in groceries so i dont know how would deal with living expenses and what not..i dont have a car..and coming from a no name school like fmu i dont think it prepared me for the academic level at w8L then again i've heard its easier at those schools versus t4/t3 schools so i'm just really confused and uncertain about alot of things but i think @ the top of my list is nccu, w&l, and usc
- GSSTIP0804i spent my time emptying my heart out on your profile without asking about u...my bad...i know u say in yours that u are pretty open to anything but do u have a few top schools in mind at this point? thanks for the encouragement and good luck and god bless u on your quest to law school :=)
- GSSTIP0804THANKS FOR YOUR INSIGHT/ADVICE.....AT LEAST U HAVE A WHOLE BUFFET OF CHOICES TO CHOICE FROM UNLIKE ME I WISH I HAD APPLIED TO UNC AT CH...BUT I THINK MY SCORE PSYCHED ME OUT FROM APPLYING TO MORE ALONG WITH THE MONEY FOR THE APP FEES..BUT ITS ALL GOOD.
- GSSTIP0804I didn't know you were only 20. I think your age could have played a minor role...I say minor only bc there are also some ppl on lsn your age that have faired better. However, I would definitely take some time off. Relax!!! You are only 20! This will be your only chance to take time off. I totally understand that the prospect of studying for the lsat turns you off, but it may make things better for you and give you options that you are truly excited about. If you don't like any of your schools, you won't be happy and may not do well enough to transfer. I wouldn't risk it. Do what's best for you!!!
- kiki123I'm the same age as you! No worries! :)...
- Mowillystylehappy belated birthday!!!! girl, i'm on my year off now and while my job sucks, my brain is getting much needed rest and now i'm *ready* to go back to school (though i'm sure i'll change my mind a lot during 1L, lol). Kinda leaning towards CLS...but I loved Mich during my visit and is a DEFINITE contender. I'm visiting UVa tomorrow, so hopefully they will present me with something to get me more excited about them. I'm so surprised that you haven't heard from WUSTL yet, I was sure you'd be in by now. And I hope you Cornell app gives you a super positive decision!
- kiki123I'm also 20 years old. lol Don't worry too much about it ;)
- tryin2makeit1Write a letter of continued interest to Cornell, especially if they are your first choice.
- tryin2makeit1One last chance??? It sounds like I'm fighting for my life or something. I said none of the schools I have been accepted at are for me, not that they weren't ranked high enough. Cornell is t-14 but it isn't for me either.
- tinymickieI'll be praying for you too! I hope you make the right choice for you! I know I'm gonna go next year, with me if i get out of school mode I know i'll never want to come back haha.... I'm deciding between Boston College , W&L, and Emory.. ... fordham's out just cause I'm not one who really wants to live in NYC. I'm really really really hoping to get into Cornell.. its my top choice right now...! but if i got into any of the top schools I have left I'd be excited to go ofcourse! buut im visiting W&L and BC soon and I saw Emory.. I think I'll be happy at any of these schools... hey we both still got a chance of getting off some of these waitlists too!
- mowillystyleWhat's goin on? I can totally feel where you're comin' from about now really feelin' the schools that you're accepted at? I'm not really either, but I just can't wait another year and there is no way I'm going through that LSAT process again. Just not happening. I don't really have a preference as far as practicing. I can see myself living in NYC, LA, SF, or Atlanta. And that's pretty much it. I'm really hoping I get into USC or off of the Emory waitlist. I still really want to go there.
- tlGood luck with the retake. That sounds like a really good plan on action. Please keep me up to date on how that goes.
- tlhi if you dont mind me asking what were your lsat/gpa #s? i'm waiting on duke and its making me soooooooooo nervous. this whole process is stressing me out. GREAT JOB btw on all those schools
- Lwoods923WOW! Congrats on the money from Emory. I am insanely jealous. Does the money change your mind about it?
- tlYay for us getting money at Emory !: )...Hey so you're retaking in June and then if you do poorly ( which i doubt you will! :)) you'll go to W&L?? What are you going to do for the year if you end up doing really well?? and that is such a good idea I sort of want to consider retaking in JUne to see if i can do better .
- mowillystylei wrote to tl about this too... if we retake in June it could improve chances of getting off of waitlists I believe ?
- mowillystyleThat would be great! I'm anxious to find out if it really helps! =) ..
- mowillystyleThanks for letting me know! looks like I won't be taking the lsat! I hope your decision becomes easier for you!:) I'm sure whatever you decide will work out!
- mowillystyleI'm over taking the lsat lol.. after applying to so many schools and now trying to get off waitlists I am spent... I sent in a deposit to W&L due to their early date and ... but I think if I don't get off any waitlists I'll be at Emory in the fall and I'm pretty happy about it! I visited and liked it there and could see myself being happy 3 years there.. but I still hope to get off a waitlist..... what about you?/ what about decided??
- mowillystyleI don't know why that message came out so incoherent lol.. bottom line.. no waitlists accept me I'm going to Emory. What decisions have you made? about what you're going to do?
- mowillystyleI can't believe this isn't over yet. I just don't have any expectations anymore. And WTH is up with Penn? They should have been gotten back to you. This whole cycle is a mess. Can you believe we're thinkin' about signing up for this again? I'm honestly still so confused about deposits. I'm debating on whether or not to send in my deposit to Fordham or not. I'm going to wait until Thursday and see if anything good happens and I know it's only $200, but I rather buy a new iPod, LOL. And if I'm definitely re-taking the LSAT in June (unless Michigan comes through in the meantime). So good luck to us with that.
- tlThanks for the kind words. That's probably the realest advice anybody has given me all cycle. You're too young to be so wise, LOL! I've decided I'm going to reapply just because I KNOW that I can do better. I didn't give the LSAT my all. My real LSAT score is the same as when I took it cold for the first time and I sorta half-assed it and only took like 3 practice tests, so I owe it to myself to actually try. I'm going to sign up for a class (that's the only way I'm going to study) and take it in September/October. So hopefully we'll be cycle buddies again next year. And this time it'll be ALOT more enjoyable because of all the acceptances we're going to get, LOL.
- tlHey! I got accepted to a program to teach English in Brazil (Rio) for the upcoming year. I'll be leaving in mid-October right after the LSAT. I'm so excited. It definitely made the decision to reapply a lot easier. Have you considered doing something abroad like that? Most of the people that I know that have done it have had wonderful experiences. Something to consider.
- tlyour cycle is over, nice. are you going to post your numbers now? oh also for the year off, consider a Europe tour or perhaps hiking at Mount Kilimanjaro with the Pyramids tour in africa.. i dont know something like that. not sure what your money situtation is like, but if it is tight, i see you live in NC, i would go hiking in the Smokys, i love that park! goodluck with whatever you do.
- lionheartGood luck with the june lsat. I'll be joining you next cycle I guess.
- lisetiffner
