I was notified via phone call from a professor at Baylor. She said that an acceptance letter was on its way. They also notified me by e-mail later that same day. Hope that helps. I see that we're applying to several of the same schools. Best of luck to you!

good luck to you as well.

you have a great shot of getting into all of those schools. best wishes.

Thanks

Thanks, I'll consider it. :)

OU

Congrats on OU! I'm sure we're both looking forward to a good cycle :)

Congrats on OU and U of H, I got into OU and hopefully a U of H letter to come, crossing fingers! Oh, and that's still awesome about UT being deferred, i'm waiting for my auto ding from them haha. I'm from Humble (outside Houston), what part of TX are you from if you don't mind me asking?

Good luck to you too

Two acceptences for you already? Not too shabby!

UH
Wednesday, March 30 2005 at 07:00 PM

Hey. I saw a question you posted on someone else's profile concerning impressions of UH. I thought I'd fill you in a little. The law campus area isn't that great but the people I know who go to UH Law say that the atmosphere is awesome. Not too competitive but still alot of very intelligent people. Additionally, most people seem to think that UH is a plus b/c of its Houston location (good legal market), but personally I don't like Houston too much. Anyway, hope that helps.

Congrats

Thanks for the congrats...looks like congrats are in order for you as well! Hopefully I will hear from U of H soon...

U of H
Monday, September 11 2006 at 08:00 PM

U of H is mainly a commuter school well for undergrad atleast. It's not the best looking campus but it could be worse. It used to be ranked a lot higher before tropical storm Allison, the law library flooded and it dropped in rankings as a result, but it will hopefully rise again. The professors and work opportunities, and reputation are all still very good despite its lower US news ranking. Houston is a great city for lawyers, and has a low cost of living.

Anything but having to put up the big R!

U of H
Monday, September 11 2006 at 08:00 PM

Hey I just got into U of H, and i'm really thinking about going. It is affordable and the more I think about it, the more I think that it is the best option. Are you still considering U of H?

Iowa
Sunday, July 30 2006 at 08:00 PM

Hey do you mind telling me when you heard back from Iowa about the scholarship? Also, I'm assuming that the 30,000 means over 3 years right?

Tulane!!
Monday, July 31 2006 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on Tulane and the money! I'm jealous! Any thoughts on taking Tech & loads of money over the rest, or are you going to hold out for scholarships at the rest?

Congrats!
Friday, August 18 2006 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on all your acceptances, you're have a great cycle too! I hope you get a clean sweep! :-)

what up with smu?
Tuesday, May 09 2006 at 08:00 PM

you should be so money for smu. i have no idea what's taking them so long to get back to you with an acceptance.

Rock on.
Sunday, December 24 2006 at 07:00 PM

Heck of a cycle so far. Congrats.

smu
Tuesday, May 09 2006 at 08:00 PM

i'm very disappointed smu deferred you to regular decision. i know they'll end up accepting you, but why put you though that stress when they've already accepted people with a lower lsat and gpa?

Thanks!
Wednesday, July 05 2006 at 08:00 PM

It doesn't seem real. I'm expecting them to email me, apologizing for their mistake.

Aww...
Thursday, December 21 2006 at 07:00 PM

You are my fav. If you had to pick right now, which school is the front-runner?

deferred at SMU?
Wednesday, December 13 2006 at 07:00 PM

Who do they think they are?

Re: you
Thursday, December 21 2006 at 07:00 PM

Eh, no frontrunner, really. I'd say the one that I have the most realistic shot at would be UVA, but if for some reason Harvard, Columbia or NYU pulls the trigger, I'd probably go there. But I'm really counting on UVA to protect us in-staters. By the way, I'm going to go log onto facebook now and friend you.

i'm still upset
Tuesday, May 09 2006 at 08:00 PM

what's up with smu not accepting you, already??

Yay Comets!
Thursday, March 09 2006 at 07:00 PM

Congrats to you too!! I don't know what's harder, waiting for them to show some love or deciding between them. All I know is I have senioritis ~hch~

choices
Wednesday, December 13 2006 at 07:00 PM

Colorado and Texas. Texas would be amazing, but it will be tough. I'm gonna try one last shot at convincing them with a letter and another visit to campus, but I would be ecstatic to go to Colorado. I don't want to go to SMU. I never really did. I mainly applied there because my coworkers at the Dallas DA's office seem to all have gone there and wanted me to too, so I figured why not. Also, in the end I either want to do admin law, con law or environmental law, so SMU and its corporate-loving curriculum and focus is definitely pretty low on my list. Honestly, you're an excellent candidate. Why wait for SMU? They obviously want to climb in the rankings while sacrificing quality applicants for kids with good LSATs.

what about you
Wednesday, December 13 2006 at 07:00 PM

are you thinking Tulane? Sure looks like you got a hell of a deal from them. I'd go there unless Texas changed its mind...

Confidence
Wednesday, July 12 2006 at 08:00 PM

I so love the comments full of confidence that I would get in to certain schools- when I had not a clue. Sorta gives me the false/misguided assumption that I was Yale material all along (which we all know number wise wasn't true) :) Now that your cycle is through where will you go?

Tulanr
Thursday, April 20 2006 at 08:00 PM

You already have the flip flops...

Tulane, eh?
Saturday, December 02 2006 at 07:00 PM

Did you go down to the ASW that already happened? I'm going 3/30, and I have a feeling it's going to suck me in. Congrats.

Hi there...I'm pretty sure I'll be at Loyola in the fall and have just started apartment hunting. I was wondering if you had been down to visit New Orleans or had checked out any places to live. Any info would be great! Thanks!
