Sunday, October 02 2005 at 08:00 PM

what is your breakdown of safety, target, and reaches by number?

gonzaga
Tuesday, September 06 2005 at 08:00 PM

How'd you get the complete from gonzaga? Was it snail mail or email? did it say anything else on it like when you'd get a decision?

Gonzaga
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

I got an email on Nov. 10th stating my file was complete and they will begin reviewing files in early Nov. and I should receive a decision in 4-6 weeks

safety/target/reaches
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

Because a few schools will take the higher lsat some of my apps. that appear to be reaches are more like targets, I consider I have 3-4 safeties, 9 targets, and the rest are reaches.

higher LSAT
Sunday, October 02 2005 at 08:00 PM

I will have one that is higher than the other also. Which ones said they will take your higher score?

higher lsat
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

Of the top of my head-Santa Clara, Villanova, Pitt, Florida State, Seattle U, St. Louis, Oregon, St. John's

Damn spelling

Ohio State
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

Thanks for the kind words, no worries though, I'd rather go to Miami anyways

ouch!
Sunday, October 02 2005 at 08:00 PM

F*ck DePaul...seriously. What is that about?! I'm sure my rejection is in the mail, right behind yours :( You are WAY better off with Miami!

Depaul
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

They definetly were not my first choice. No loss, I wouldn't have gone if accepted at this point.

(definitely)
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

sorry it's late and i have lost the ability to spell it seems

OSU
Wednesday, November 30 2005 at 07:00 PM

osu
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

snail mail, i listed my temporary and permanent address as the same

Kent
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

I'm still interested in Kent, I had the option for PT as well, i didn't accept though

Seton Hall
Friday, September 16 2005 at 08:00 PM

Congrats on your acceptance. I am so incredibly jealous. I am not at all minimizing your acceptance, but are there any other factors that you think may have contributed to your acceptance? I say this because few people who applied full time with a 3.1 index last year ended up getting in, so I'm just wondering. Any soft factors...unique work experience? I myself am applying part-time and hope to be accepted. Do you think you will attend Seton Hall? Congrats again!

Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

Thank you for the kind words. If I were to guess I would say they put more weight on my second lsat score. As for unique experience I only have a few internships and crap jobs, nothing special. I do feel my rec's and PS were good, but so does everyone else so who knows. I really don't know that much about Seton Hall or NJ so at this point I would say I probably won't go there, but you never know. Have anything to share about the school or area that may be of interest?

You're doing well so far
Saturday, July 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

Major score on Denver and Miami...Too bad about Loyola, i'm hoping PT status sqeaks me in.

Seattle U
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

Thanks for the congrats everyone, as for money I didn't receive any to date

Willamette
Saturday, July 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

Are you tempted by their $15000 offer at all?

willamette
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

I am definitely tempted... less than 10k a year would be nice. I have a lot of choices to make over the next few months that is for sure.

Seattle, Miami
Wednesday, August 24 2005 at 08:00 PM

Im pretty jealous of you. APparently, one LSAT point makes a big difference on admissions

ivan
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

i'm leaning the same way you are. if i get into those reaches i will probably go there. if not then at this point i'm going to miami

we are both so borderline that it is probably the g.p.a. more than the one point lsat....this whole process is so frusturating, i don't think anyone is truly happy with all their options(unless they got into yale), eveyone feels they could have done better on the lsat ...i myself never scored lower than a 158 on a practice test and was routinely in the mid 160's but put up a 154 the first time...what are you gonna do....

about the triple post, i don't know why it did that

Congrats!
Monday, January 16 2006 at 07:00 PM

Wow so many schools! Congrats on your acceptances. We have similar numbers except I decided not to take the LSAT again.. I'm just not good at standardized tests.

What's left
Saturday, July 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

We have all the same schools left. What do you think about San Diego, Oregon, Case, UNLV, and Pacific?

Chances
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

The only schools I'm still interested in are ASU, Pepp, San Diego, and UNLV and I think I'll probably get waitlisted at a few of them, maybe if I'm lucky get into one. I'm definitely tired of waiting for the mail, I can tell you that. At this point they obviously are all less than 50/50 for us.

SAN DIEGO
Saturday, July 30 2005 at 08:00 PM

i applied PT first. I heard that's sort of a trick.

hey

fsu
Tuesday, August 16 2005 at 08:00 PM

when did you get off of the fsu deferral list? thanks

decision
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

not yet, I've narrowed it down the fsu and denver out of the schools remaining

florida
Tuesday, September 06 2005 at 08:00 PM

that's crazy, i'm so nervous...my parents have a lot of reservations about "letting" me go because of the distance from them and my friends/bf. When are you planning on leaving? Have you figured out the logistical aspects of moving (ie getting all your shit there)?

asu waitlist
Wednesday, September 07 2005 at 08:00 PM

I got a letter a few days ago asking if I wanted to be considered for their waitlist. The letter stated it was a very small waitlist and they are cutting their class size to 175 this year and if I wanted to be considered I had to email someone, which I have already done.

no idea, but I've already pretty much decided to go to UB. Can't turn down the in-state tuition - $13,000 - not bad for a top 100 school.
