Yes, it looks like we have very similar numbers! Due to my personal situation, I will not be applying to any other schools. I am not in a position to leave IUPUI. Best of luck during the cycle!

Tuesday, October 23 2007 at 08:20 AM

I'm very close in numbers, focusing on CA schools (Hastings, USD). I'm applying early commitment at Hastings- hope that helps! It's going to be close, hopefully work experience will make a difference!

Saturday, October 27 2007 at 07:05 PM

Looks like we have similar numbers (unless your 164 is an average) so I just wanted to wish you the best of luck.

Thursday, November 01 2007 at 12:27 AM

Hi, i noticed that we're in the same boat GPA/LSAT-wise and that you've applied to hastings as well... did you apply under EC? Good luck!

Sunday, November 04 2007 at 09:44 AM

similar numbers and schools

Tuesday, November 06 2007 at 08:37 AM

Good Luck!

Tuesday, November 06 2007 at 09:11 AM

Yea I still haven't heard any acknowledgment that they received my app, though they have requested my LSDAs report from LSAC.

Thursday, November 08 2007 at 05:54 AM

Has not requested my report either!

Thursday, November 08 2007 at 05:55 AM

oh..and congrats on the acceptance!!

Thursday, November 08 2007 at 06:13 AM

Nice acceptance at UMiami....Even if you don't go, at least it's warm ;)

Friday, November 09 2007 at 05:36 AM

Hi. Both schools requested within 12 hours. I am complete at loyola and waiting to hear from american. What scares me is that American has already sent out some decision (not that I have a shot in hell)

Friday, November 09 2007 at 05:49 PM

requested my report today, I bet they requested yours too. I received an e-mail from them about it as well.

what's up
Saturday, November 10 2007 at 09:00 AM

We're not numbers twins, but we applied to alot of similar schools and seem to have the same index at each good luck to you and maybe we'll end up in the same place, congrats on Miami, did you hear by email or regular mail? I want that acceptance already lol

Sunday, November 11 2007 at 02:15 PM

on UMiami... good luck with the rest of the cycle!

Monday, November 12 2007 at 06:34 AM

We are pretty close!!!! GOOD LUCK!!! No Florida State? KEEP ME POSTED!

Wednesday, November 21 2007 at 12:30 PM

For the congrats... About UF - I don't know if they ever sent me a notice of being complete. I found out by mail but it was sent to my Gainesville address so it didn't have very far to travel.

Monday, November 26 2007 at 06:54 PM

Hey thanks for the congrats. Yeah they sent me an email a week or so after I submitted teh app. Good luck with the cycle!

Sunday, December 09 2007 at 12:37 PM

congrats on the acceptances so far. hopefully youll see a lot more of them! our index numbers at hastings, davis, and santa clara are the same... did you do early decision for any of them? good luck!

Tuesday, December 11 2007 at 07:02 AM

Hey! We are really close in numbers and are applying to a lot of the same schools. And i noticed we applied to most of them around the same time, for instance, both with complete at SMU on the 6th, so it will be interesting to monitor your progress!

Tuesday, December 11 2007 at 03:25 PM

is my first choice. but i'd be happy going to santa clara cus ive visited it a few times and its a great campus and i know some ppl who go there and they seem to like it a lot. whats your first choice?

first choice...
Wednesday, December 12 2007 at 08:12 AM

well, since you dont have a first choice then i'll just say that i hope you get in everywhere! have a great cycle!

Wednesday, December 12 2007 at 10:55 AM

Congrats on Santa Clara! W/ $$, too! Nice! Hope you have a difficult decision to make between good schools w/ $$!

Wednesday, December 12 2007 at 12:16 PM

Yeah, SMU is pretty much my number one, not counting all the schools I know I have absolutely no chance at.

Sunday, December 16 2007 at 07:51 AM

congrats on all your acceptances so far! and hopefully youll be able to ride out the waitlist for georgetown! good luck!

Sunday, December 16 2007 at 10:49 PM

the admissions director called my house on thursday, but i wasnt home so he left his number with my mom and asked for me to call him back. he told me about the acceptance and the scholarship when i called him back. and the next day i got this big packet in the mail and it had a paper talking about the scholarship too. if i get into hastings, im pretty sure that i'd go there over USF. even if they didnt offer me a scholarship. but i dunno, ill guess we'll see in march when they come out with the results.

Saturday, December 22 2007 at 09:33 AM

I applied to a lot of the same schools as you and our numbers are fairly close. I'm keeping an eye on your cycle and hope it goes well for you.

good luck!
Wednesday, December 26 2007 at 11:26 AM

Congrats on all your acceptances! i noticed we have similar numbers and a few of the same schools - best of luck this cycle!

Monday, December 31 2007 at 07:49 AM

we are numbers twins! seems like we are also applying to similar schools. good luck!!

first choice?
Tuesday, January 01 2008 at 05:55 PM

id say my first choice would prolly be bc or bu (bc i want to be in boston) but id really be happy anywhere in the top 50. how about you? looks like you already have some great acceptances!

Wednesday, January 02 2008 at 05:12 AM

we're applying to some similar places and our numbers are close (yours are a bit better). Just wanted to wish you good luck this cycle! congrats on the acceptances

first choice
Wednesday, January 16 2008 at 03:04 PM

I would be ecstatic if I got into BC or Fordham - I know they are pretty big reaches. Of the schools I have gotten into so far I am torn between UF and Miami. What about you??

Sunday, January 27 2008 at 02:42 AM

Congrats on the acceptances... we have very similar numbers. Where are you looking at as your first choice now?

Monday, February 04 2008 at 08:17 AM

Congrats on SMU! Did you not receive a phone call before the acceptance came in the mail?

Tuesday, February 05 2008 at 04:21 PM

congrats on loyola!

Saturday, February 09 2008 at 05:18 PM

yea davis is hella slow. it took them forever just to say that my app went complete. it makes me wonder what's going on over there.

numbers twin update
Tuesday, March 11 2008 at 07:44 AM

hey there it's been a while since i updated my profile but i just did and wanted to see how your cycle was going. hope all is well, good luck to you!

Friday, March 21 2008 at 10:44 AM

Congrats on Fordham. I think we may be close in numbers, I have a 162. My last practice score was 99th percentile and my average was 96%, but I dont know if it is worth a year to retake. Feb undisclosed is messing with my head, dont know how I dropped off so much.

Friday, March 21 2008 at 11:44 AM

congrats on Fordham! im so jealous- i applied for the FT program and they waitlisted me :( think you'll go??

Wednesday, March 26 2008 at 11:18 AM

congrats on fordham! thats a great school!

Wednesday, April 02 2008 at 08:33 PM

i WISH i got into hastings! i think you meant to say davis haha... so far everyone is telling me to go to davis instead of santa clara. but i kinda want to stay close to home (i live like about 20 minutes away from santa clara, and davis is a little more than an hour away) and i already know some ppl who go to the law school at santa clara, but the only ppl i know at davis are undergrads. plus i could really see myself working and living in san jose so i think santa clara might be a good fit... plus davis is boring as hell haha. i've put a deposit down at both santa clara and davis so i have lots more time to make a decision. and of course i'm still holding out for a decision from hastings cus that will definitely affect my decision.

and oh yea,
Wednesday, April 02 2008 at 08:35 PM

have you narrowed down your list of schools yet? what do you think about your options? cus you certainly have a lot of good choices!

Monday, April 07 2008 at 11:19 PM

Congrats on Fordham! I also applied to PT and you're kind of my inspiration. My LSAT is a little lower and my GPA is a little higher than yours. I was just wondering if the 164 is an average or your highest bc I know Fordham uses highest for evaluation purposes. Thanks!

Thursday, April 10 2008 at 10:50 PM

Thanks for the support! I really hope I get in. It would be great to know someone from the beginning. Do you plan on transferring to FT?

Monday, April 14 2008 at 02:06 PM

Yep, it's good to get a head start :) If you do go to Fordham, orientation starts mid August, so that's pretty soon. I am actually not planning to attempt to transfer to FT. I am a little older than an average law school applicant, I am 28. Best of luck with your decision :)

Wednesday, April 16 2008 at 07:17 AM

Fordham it is! I definitely plan on transferring to full time. Excited, but still a wreck about moving to NYC and finding a job first year though. Did you ever visit the campus for ASD or anything?

new york, new york
Wednesday, April 16 2008 at 11:42 AM

enjoy new york, i haven't been in two years but it's a great city. i'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the school! i'm going to try and visit in the next month - and equally important, get a feel for affordable areas to live in. i'm originally from kansas city, lived in las vegas for 2 years, now live in DC. i'm actually still kind of hoping for the GW waitlist to pull through because the law school is 2 blocks from my office; can't beat the convenience. otherwise, cue the sinatra, new york here i come!

Sunday, April 20 2008 at 02:44 PM

IF I get in, I would definitely try to transfer to FT. I heard it's pretty seamless but I'm not sure of the requirements. The woman I talked to on the phone made it sound like it was just a matter of filling out forms.

Monday, April 21 2008 at 11:06 AM

checking in to see how your visit went. what'd you think of the school? hear any good housing tips?

Wednesday, April 30 2008 at 06:09 AM

Hi. I noticed we have a similar index for W&M. Have you heard any news from them about the waitlist or had any contact? Trying to figure out how they will handle this large WL, lol.

Friday, May 02 2008 at 10:17 AM

on SMU with $75,000!!!!!!!

Monday, May 05 2008 at 12:52 PM

on a very successful admissions cycle! In all likelihood, I will be attending SMU as well (still waiting on one, though). You should join us on the SMU-Dedman Class of 2011 Facebook group. (<a href="" title="" class="data"></a>) Hope to see you there!

Thanks for dropping a line.
