I'm very close in numbers, focusing on CA schools (Hastings, USD). I'm applying early commitment at Hastings- hope that helps! It's going to be close, hopefully work experience will make a difference!

Yea I still haven't heard any acknowledgment that they received my app, though they have requested my LSDAs report from LSAC.

For the congrats... About UF - I don't know if they ever sent me a notice of being complete. I found out by mail but it was sent to my Gainesville address so it didn't have very far to travel.

is my first choice. but i'd be happy going to santa clara cus ive visited it a few times and its a great campus and i know some ppl who go there and they seem to like it a lot. whats your first choice?

id say my first choice would prolly be bc or bu (bc i want to be in boston) but id really be happy anywhere in the top 50. how about you? looks like you already have some great acceptances!

I would be ecstatic if I got into BC or Fordham - I know they are pretty big reaches. Of the schools I have gotten into so far I am torn between UF and Miami. What about you??

Congrats on Fordham. I think we may be close in numbers, I have a 162. My last practice score was 99th percentile and my average was 96%, but I dont know if it is worth a year to retake. Feb undisclosed is messing with my head, dont know how I dropped off so much.

i WISH i got into hastings! i think you meant to say davis haha... so far everyone is telling me to go to davis instead of santa clara. but i kinda want to stay close to home (i live like about 20 minutes away from santa clara, and davis is a little more than an hour away) and i already know some ppl who go to the law school at santa clara, but the only ppl i know at davis are undergrads. plus i could really see myself working and living in san jose so i think santa clara might be a good fit... plus davis is boring as hell haha. i've put a deposit down at both santa clara and davis so i have lots more time to make a decision. and of course i'm still holding out for a decision from hastings cus that will definitely affect my decision.

have you narrowed down your list of schools yet? what do you think about your options? cus you certainly have a lot of good choices!

Congrats on Fordham! I also applied to PT and you're kind of my inspiration. My LSAT is a little lower and my GPA is a little higher than yours. I was just wondering if the 164 is an average or your highest bc I know Fordham uses highest for evaluation purposes. Thanks!

Yep, it's good to get a head start :) If you do go to Fordham, orientation starts mid August, so that's pretty soon. I am actually not planning to attempt to transfer to FT. I am a little older than an average law school applicant, I am 28. Best of luck with your decision :)

Fordham it is! I definitely plan on transferring to full time. Excited, but still a wreck about moving to NYC and finding a job first year though. Did you ever visit the campus for ASD or anything?

enjoy new york, i haven't been in two years but it's a great city. i'll be interested to hear your thoughts on the school! i'm going to try and visit in the next month - and equally important, get a feel for affordable areas to live in. i'm originally from kansas city, lived in las vegas for 2 years, now live in DC. i'm actually still kind of hoping for the GW waitlist to pull through because the law school is 2 blocks from my office; can't beat the convenience. otherwise, cue the sinatra, new york here i come!
